What is the distance around World Showcase?

I have been looking everywhere to find the distance around WS. Where do you find these types of facts?

I read in the WDW Trivia Book that the trip around WS Promenade is 1.2 miles.

Not True, Not True, Not True

On Sunday my wife and I ran the Race for the Taste 10K, which entered at the International Gateway and ran around the lake before exiting EPCOT past Speceship Earth.

It was 75 degrees at 5:30 am, so easily 80 when we entered, plus 100% humidity. My legs were blown by then, and I can legally attest the distance around WS is AT LEAST 67 miles.
