Between a Inn Room and a Studio at VB? also what is the diffrence between garden view and ocean view Inn Rooms?
thanks, misty

The difference between an ocean view inn room and a garden view inn room is-you have an ocean view with the ocean view room and you look out at the front of the resort (I refer to it as the front) where you drive in or maybe over at the villas.

IMHO, an ocean view room is worth extra pts or cash.

We usually stay in a room that is on the side of the inn-it has a view of the pool and ocean and is classified as an ocean view room.

The difference between a studio and an inn room is-I think most studios have a queen bed and a pull out sofa. Most inn rooms have 2 queen beds. I know that you can get a studio with 2 queen beds but I think you will end up with a garden view in this case. I think VB interchanges studios with garden view inn rooms.

Are you thinking about a trip to VB?

The inn rooms do not come with a washer and dryer but there are facilities on the 4th floor of the inn. I don't believe the studios come with them either.

We always stay in the inn because we are able to guarantee an ocean view and we absolutely want that when we go to VB.

Hope this helps.

Nope.

I'm learning that there are some different Inn room configurations, they are not necessarily standard.

You cannot get connecting Inn rooms or studios to my knowledge, if that's a consideration.

Both have microwaves and fridges.

I may be wrong, but I believe there are no studios in the main inn, only in the seperate units on either side of the main inn building. Have never been in an inn room but I believe they are a bit smaller that a studio, at least they appear to be in the Member Guidebook.

The inn rooms are pretty big. It's hard to tell which is bigger because they are set up differently.

The inn room is longer, I think, and the studio is set up more in a square-unless you get the studio with 2 queen beds.

If you are going to book a studio and they don't have any left in the villas you could be put in a garden view inn room as a substitute.

Has anyone slept on the pull out couch in the studios? Is it uncomfortable?

You can see the room layouts at dvcresorts.com.
