We are considering renting points to stay here (Savannah view), but do not know the difference between these two villas. There is no difference is point cost.

Any preference?

Kidani villas are a bit larger and have 2 bathrooms in their 1-bedroom units compared to Jambo's 1, and 3 bathrooms compared to 2 for the 2-bedroom units. Jambo is located in the main building and therefore offers more dining and shopping experiences, but Kidani is DVC exclusive and tends to be a little quieter.

I would make the exact same points--Kidani, you get an additional bathroom. Jambo House, you get location to more amenities. I was just at AKL Jambo in December and I would actually stay at either place. I think you should base your decision on space--do you need the extra bathroom. If not, stay at Jambo House--the main lobby can be very noise, but you can request to be further out and my room was actually very, very quiet. However, if you only have enough points for a Studio, I would choose Jambo House since the size is similar at both and both only have 1 bathroom.

The tub/shower layouts are different. The 1 bedroom in Jambo has a combo tub/shower with a tall tub and a big step to enter, could be an issue if you are travelling with older people.

When we stay at AKV we decide between Kidani and Jambo based off the time of year we travel.... Kidani has a GREAT pool area for kids, and we don't mind the walk over to Jambo for counter service food- so we prefer Kidani during the warmer months. We like Jambo when its colder out- that way we just need to walk a short distance to Mara (counter service food), instead of a 5-10 minute walk btwn Kidani to Jambo.

Jambo House villas are located on the fifth floor of the building. All two bedroom villas in JH are lockoffs, meaning a combination of a studio and a one bedroom. There are also five two bedroom lockoffs on the sixth floor that are considered concierge villas with access to the club lounge. But they are hard to book. These villas are all renovated hotel rooms. The villas in Kidani Village were constructed new.

Here is a general comparison of the two sections of Animal Kingdom Village, which may be helpful as you decide.
