What is the closest DVC to Universal?

Staying at the BWV and doing WDW for 3 days, then going on the cruise, when we get back we will be doing Universal for 2 days and WDW for another 1. We have banked points that we have to use so we won't be staying in the Universal area. What is the closest DVC to Universal? Thanks for your help!

Probably OKW, maybe SSR. But neither are that much closer than BWV. Still about ten to fifteen minutes by car on I-4 in good traffic.

I guess SSR would be closest. You're going to be driving. Probably almost no difference, time wise, between SSR and OKW. I doubt BCV or BWV would be that much further. I don't think the extra 10 minutes or so it would take to drive from AKV would have a real impact on your trip.

Staying at one of the three Universal hotels makes for a much better trip. Could you either rent your points or use them to upgrade your BWV accommodations (studio to 1 bedroom or 1 bedroom to studio)?

I vote for staying at Universal also. Can't beat the front of the line benefits. And their hotel are great.

Saratoga Springs. And you don't have to get on I-4. In fact, I wouldn't even try to get on I-4. You can come out at Crossroads by Downtown Disney and go left on 535, right on Palm Parkway and than straight on Turkey Lake Rd which runs along I-4. Pretty easy...you'll pass Westgate and a big Walmart on your left and Universal will be on your right. It's about 10 minutes, maybe less. You can get to Seaworld this way also.

You can leave Saratoga and take another route too that may be slightly faster but I don't remember any street names. It circles around to cross 535 onto Palm Parkway.
