What is the best way to post trip photos?

I love to post photos with my trip reports, but wonder if they take too long to load for most computers? They aren't that big, but some computers are slow especially with a dial up connection. Would it be better to link to a separate website, or album? What do you think?

i put mine in an album on yahoo..i had alot and 1 trip report to put them in...would have taken forever to load just i just put them in as links..then if they don't want to see pics <gasp> they don't hafta...
