Wyndham on I Drive. We got it for $16/nt. thru Priceline and it was awesome! So clean you could eat off the floor, housekeeping was great, three great pools and one kiddie pool, on-site restaurant/bar near the main pool and wonderfully landscaped grounds. Add to that the fact that we're Wyndham by Request members and receive a basket with fruit, wine, soft drinks, crackers, cheese, etc. and VIP treatment at every Wyndham, this place is great!

So far ... the Marriott Orlando World Center (8/10). I'm staying at the Wyndham Palace in July and I think I'll like it even better.

I've also stayed at the Days Inn Maingate East (near Old Town) YUCK (0/10), the Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista (4/10), Hyatt Orlando, (7/10) Sheraton World (6/10) & Wyndham Orlando (7/10).

The Buena Vista Palace, now known as the Wyndham Palace. Great service.

The hotel was wonderful (2 pools - 1 indoor & 1 outdoor). The breakfasts were unbelievable.

We also loved Hayes Vacation Home Rentals (have stayed there a couple of times), but, of course, that's not a hotel.

It was a beautful place. We had a great view of Downtown Disney. I also enjoyed the piano bar in the lobby.

FANTASTIC ACCOMMODATIONS!
GREAT RESTAURANTS!

PLUS, THEY HAVE THOSE DUCKS THAT PARADE TWICE A DAY.

It is magnificent, enormous, with 6 pools and waterfalls, palm trees and many restaurants, including a Japanese steak house, Italian restaurant, sports bar, Starbucks and more...the service was great and it was beautiful!
Best of all I got it through priceline for $50.!

Hands down the Marriott. We have stayed at the hotel and also in the villas, they are awesome.
We have also stayed at the Hyatt Grand Cypress and while it was nice we would pick the Marriott over the Hyatt. :)

Wyndham Palace was the absolute best. :)
The shampoos, lotions, etc may not be Mickey, but they are from Bath and Body Works! Robes are provided - great if you use the pool. Huge room and great turn down service. The bed was comfortable and was piled with pillows. The view from the balcony was spectacular. :D

My parents had special needs. My mom cannot walk far, cannot climb stairs but is also claustophobic so cannot handle an elevator either. No problem. They were given a room on the same floor as the lobby. Staff was very attentive. :)

I got it last March through Priceline with a $45 bid (plus $25 bonus money - no longer available).

I stayed at Extended Stay America on Major Blvd. It's good for the solo traveler. It's got a small stove, fridge, microwave, and eating and cooking utensils. It's also got a La-Z-Boy chair. It was so comfortable! I got to get one for my house. :)

The rate was $44 in 10/00, but it has since gone up to $59. :(

We had a room facing epcot, downtown disney and we got literally touch the fireworks from our room. Excellent service, nice rooms, the best and biggest pool in orlando is at mowc. Nice grounds. We called the maid to bring us some extra shampoos and she brought us a basket full of shampoos, lotions, mouthwash, soaps. room service was great. I stayed thru priceline for $45+tax. I wish I could stay there again this year. But we got whynham palace resort and I havent stayed there yet.

If you have kids, HIFS is GREAT! I'm sure if it were just my husband and myself, we'd take luxury over fun, but with the kids, we prefer that THEY have fun. HIFS has a great pool, very nice FREE breakfast buffet, and nice 2-bedroom suites.

Our most recent stay there was last August of 2000 for 8 nights and we had wonderful accomodations. The room was huge, comfortable, and very clean at a great price. Upon checking in/out, the hotel staff was courteous and attentive in every way. Housekeeping was excellent every day with no problems at all (had a large supply of towels, etc.)

We decided to use their shuttle bus to go to Epcot instead of driving ourselves and found the service was reliable and prompt (we did not have to wait either way going or coming). Their location is about a 4 mile drive up the road, so when we drove ourselves to Disney it took us only 10min flat to pull up at the maingate.

Also, they have a large outdoor covered heated pool that was great for swimming anytime of the day. I would recommend it highly for everyone.
