what is the best gas?

CPanther95, not sure of your age but you will soon find out if you don't already, you will know more about your car before the dealership does. Many times, the car manufactures will find out about problems and issues from car/forums. Dealerships are the last to find out.

I'm young enough to be excited about buying/driving a 400 HP Camaro after selling my MDX (after many years of Taurus wagons/Windstars/Odysseys/MDXs) once we didn't have kids to cart around any longer.

... but old enough to trade it in 5 years later on a minivan because toting the Grandkids isn't practical in a Camaro. :D

I generally don't deal with the dealership at all, except to sign the paperwork.

Sure I'm familiar with ARCO. However, around where I live even they don't match Costco prices. Sometimes they do, but more often than not they don't. The spread in value can be anywhere from 0 to 15 cents.
Right this moment ARCO is $1.99 and Costco is $2.01. The problem with Costco is there is often a long line, and while ARCO is far busier than other gas stations, you normally don't have more than one car ahead of you.
The whole retail gas industry has changed remarkably from when I was a kid in the 1960's. There were 11 "service" stations within a mile of my house growing up......now there are 6, with 5 having mini-marts and only 1 actually working on cars.
It's all about selling gasoline in volume now, and getting folks to buy a soda or snack, hot dog, burger or rib sandwich while they are there.

You wouldn't happen to have a pic of that fuel efficient:rotfl2: beast would you? Me a my buddies use to spend some time at the track.

Got one laying around somewhere I'm sure. It was actually a competition mud bogger, so most of the pictures include about 800 pounds of mud LOL

At least you had the chance to experience a car like that. Our son is in college and when he graduates, I'm trying to convince my wife I could use a car like that. I've only had trucks and suv's. Modifying a diesel truck is an option too but that gets a little costly.

That is one of the things on my bucket list. Just once I'd like to get down a mud track in a bogger. Been in a rock climber once and that was fun but beat the crap out of me.

You need the best of all worlds...a 556 HP Station Wagon!

Yes, we have a station that sells 107 "racing fuel", and it is something like $8 a gallon.

I used to run that in my 71 Cuda'. It's was only sold at one station in town, but the big block likes the 107 octane. It only got driven on weekends so I could stomach the occasional fill up.
