Great tips please Keep them coming!!!!!!!!!

Since there's 4 in our stateroom, we used only collapsible luggage. I unpacked the first night, and slid all the luggage under the bed. Makes a huge space difference!

Also, we packed an extra duffle when we flew in - stopped at the Cape Canaveral Publix the night before, then packed the duffle with our newly purchased bottled water and boxed wine.(The wine tasted fine, and we didn't have to worry about breaking glass or a corkscrew). Checked the duffle with our other luggage - and Voila - bottled water delivered to your room!

We ordered coffee from room service each morning at 8am. A great wake-up call, plus what a way to start the day with a hot cup of joe on your balcony watching the sea!

Sticky notes for leaving family members messages in your room.

Take a notepad and each evening record everything your family did that day -Priceless!

If you are a scrapbooker, the evening before disembarking, pick up extra luggage tags of all the characters - great for your scrapbook pages!

We had early dining and didn't like the early assigned breakfast time on disembark day, so DH went to the buffet, brought some pastries and fresh fruit to the room for our breakfast, then we leisurely walked off the boat.

Bring $1 bills for barter in port. Doesn't do you much good to offer $4 for a hat, then bring out $20 bill to pay. Decide that you'll pay $4, then put the money in a separate pocket. When you pull it out - looks like that's all you got. Works every time!

Thank you all for your suggestions. I now have some new ideas for my 7-29 Western. I will order Mickey Bars from room service, ask my room steward for extra hangers, and send DH shirts for press at only $1.75!

We bring a short extension cord that allows you to plug in three items at a time. That way we can re-charge multiple electrical items overnight (camera battery, laptop, iPod, cellphone).

What a great idea with the $1. bills. I was not quite sure what to do about that. Dont feel comftorable bartering anyway.

The soda might be free on deck 9 but if i am thirsty in my room i would rather go to my cooler then the 9th deck anytime

Does the fridge not get cool enough for drinks? Can you bring a cooler to the airport?

The lifestyle pictures are done almost everyday, just check your navigator for times. We had ours done with Mickey.

This will help. We don't want formal night and before my daughters get the hair braided. I'm going to Michaels today for a Mat. You have been a wonderful help.

hi all, thank you for the invaluable tips. 3 questions

what is the rainforest

do they sell mugs like at the resorts for the drink station

if you brink a roll on carryon with you(for beer and water) does this count as 1 of your pcs. of luggage

thanks in advance, sherrie

You don't have to buy a mug for drinks like you do at the WDW resorts. Soda, water, tea and coffee are free up on Deck 9 24 hours a day. It does cost you $ if you get soda from room service or the bar.

The fridge in the room is not very cold at all. Our room steward just kept refilling our cooler even without asking.

thanks mary, but how big are the cups at the free station, do they sell the big plastic mugs if you want them as a souvie?

They will have mugs for sale in the shops on the ship and at CC.

Maybe it depends on the room, but our refrigerator worked fine for cold drinks.

Give your kids their own disposable camera, and another disposable waterproof camera. We had some great candids from our DDs ages 7 & 11 last spring!

I did the same thing with my 6 year old! He loved taking "his own" pictures of things. It is so funny to see what they think is really neat.

The best tip I got here was the rolling cooler. I found the Mickey one on Ebay and its great. Can't wait to use it on our cruise on the Magic this August.

subscribing!!!!

And trying to figure out how to get the Uhaul on the plane back home!!!!

I know it's not so "secret" anymore, but it's still not frequented by as many people as you'd think, especially during "quieter times".
