NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

My experience has been the opposite. The sample transaction from BJ’s I shared earlier shows a 2% Category Bonus in addition to the 1% Rewards Base, so it’s definitely posting
as a 3% category for me.

I will check a Sam’s online DGC transaction and report back.
On 5/2/20205 I made an online purchase of DGC from Sam’s. $800 face value DGC for $720. My BofA CCR reward transaction shows:

Rewards Base: $7.20
Category Bonus for online shopping purchase: $14.40
Relationship Bonus for Preferred Rewards - 25%: $5.40

So online transactions at Sam’s are also posting as a 3% category for me, but as @TheDailyMoo suggests you should check to make you are getting the correct reward for your transactions. Unfortunately, for that transaction my Preferred Rewards was only at the 25% tier as I had not yet hit Platinum Honors or my Relationship Bonus amount would have been $10.40 higher.

Awesome. Thank you so much for checking this!! I’m excited!

OK that's good to know! When I saw your sample I had assumed you were using a new card with the promo. I haven't ordered from BJ's online for a long time, as I usually do it in store so either I am misremembering or they changed it or a combination of the two lol. Thanks for showing the transaction data! And yes the platinum honors boost is awesome. I hate that BoA website looks like it was made on AOL in 1998 but they really do hook it up with rewards!

Not to mention I just opened my second CCR not only to take advantage of the new promo but I always hit the 2500 cap so quickly especially around black Friday and Christmastime so it was an easy call for me.

Hi! I could use some help. I'm online at the Disney Store and have some items in my cart using the Friends and Family 25% off today. I added the Disney Visa card holder as well since it said it was combinable. However, when I go to check out, even after selecting to use the Disney card and supplying my 3 digit code, nothing came off the total price.

Should I expect it to after hitting submit? Or is it not applying for some reason?

I can use a Disney gift card to get around 10% off since that is my blended savings on the card so far. However, I'd rather save it for a trip and use the Disney Visa 10% off instead if I can.

Thanks for any help!

You can't stack the 10% Disney Visa promo with the 25% Disney Store Friends and Family promo.

They are separate codes "drvcmember" and "disneypal."

You will see one grays out after the other is added. Only "shipmagic" will stack.

Thanks! I assumed it was related, but didn't notice it was grayed out when it added. I wish it would actually give an error message or not add if it doesn't apply but thanks for explaining it. I used a gift card to pay.

Do the Target 10% off gift cards stack with the 5% off on Target Red Card?
No, but I used the opportunity to use a different card that I was trying to get some spending on, since using the Target Circle (red) card wouldn't give me anything extra.

Same. After getting our first CCR in April
and seeing the value, especially for online DGC purchases, we got a second one the very next month.

So, from what everyone is experiencing, Sam's DGC purchases seem to trigger the online shopping category but BJs triggers the warehouse category?

Definitely getting tempted to unfreeze those reports and grab the 6% BoFA deal while it lasts ...

Krogers has 5% off Visa and MC prepaid cards with code BTS2025 via this link:

https://giftcards.kroger.com/exclus...summer_20250710_b:all_c:modulefive_t:kpf.gift

The 5% "almost" offsets the activation fee if you go for the $100 card, but I know there's some on here who stack purchases of these prepaid cards to their advantage. The deal on a $100 card appears as follows:

Merchandise total: $100

Purchase fee: $5.95

Sub Total:$105.95

Promotional Code:- $5

Your Total:$100.95

Unfortunately we got our cards just before the 6% promo but it I’m not complaining. This is the first quarter we have 2 cards for the entire quarter so happy about that.

Agree both the BofA and ML websites need work but love the cash rewards on DGC!

What I am seeing is online DGC purchases
from both Sam’s and BJ’s code as online. DGC purchases made in a physical Sam’s or BJ’s warehouse code as warehouse.

I'm intrigued. If I buy dgc online (bj, sam, target etc) I would get 6% back plus whatever discount that store has? sounds worth using a slot for.

I have a question about some chase offers that I'm hoping to get some advice on. These are the offers

Card 1: Marriott 10% up to $80
Card 2: Marriott 10% up to $80
Card 3: Westin 10% up to $68

If I book a stay at the Swan, can I pay for the full amount in advance and break it up across 2 or 3 cards? Without it being a prepay and still being able to cancel?

Would Swan show up as Marriott and trigger the offer? I know Westin should work.

If I've already made a reservation and paid a deposit on another card (made it before the offers were out), can I have them reverse the charge on the deposit and charge the full amount across the multiple cards? I've done that with Disney before.
Would I be better off trying to do this through the Marriott number or calling the hotel directly?

Thanks for any advice.
