Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum and ultimately signed up to get a little advice on the best way to earn and use Disney Rewards. I have 2 questions.

-- What is the best credit/debit card program for earning Disney Reward points?
-- What is the "fine print" or things I have to be aware of when we try to cash them in?

We plan on heading over to Disney World in mid-March 2009 and would like to start the progress on earning the most possible points. As of right now, the best Disney rewards card I can find is the Disney Rewards Visa Card from Chase. It gives us 0% APR, and lets us earn 1% for every dollar spent. The rewards seem to be accepted at all the major Disney destinations and such.

Any other suggestion on a better and faster way to earn reward points for our Disney trip?

Thank you to everyone in advance.

Oh by the way, please don't suggest using any kind of MasterCard. I've had huge hassles with them in the past and don't want to go down that route again.
Thanks!:thumbsup2

Chase Disney Visa is the only disney reward card I know.

In order to take advantage of those small rewards they offer, lol - you must always pay your balance in full or you are defeating the whole purpose.

If you want a deal, reply to this post with your email address. I'll email you a code for the Disney Rewards Visa card which, when you apply, will get you a $25 gift card after your first purchase.

The Disney Rewards Visa also gets you reductions on Disney tours, and the ability to purchase Disney Visa card pins, among other perks.

Thanks guys! I was really having a hard time finding any other credit card that offered reward points, and now I guess I know why.
And Anna, thanks for your input. I knew there was probably some sort of stipulation that made it hard to take advantage of the promotion.

I know you said no to Mastercard..... What about an American Express card?

They have two cards (don't know why they need two with the same benefits)..... both are FREE.

From $0 - $6500 you get 1.5% cash back on all gas, supermarket and drugstores and 0.5% cash back on all other purchases.

Once your annual purchases pass the $6500 level you get 5% cash back on all gas, supermarket and drugstore purchases and 1.5% cash back on everything else.

You can earn far more money with a cash back American Express than the Disney Visa and you get the ability to spend it at Disney, or anywhere else you want!

Over the years we have have had this card we easily top $1000 a year in cash back funds.

Isn't cash better than points?

Just throwing in my $0.02!
