What is the "best" CM job at Disneyworld?

I think working the front desk at a resort would be nice.. except when you get the customer that nothing can please them but maybe they would be few and far between

They're definitely more than "few and far between", trust me!
I've done resorts and it was enjoyable, but guests are sooooo picky with room requests, upset when their room isn't ready at 9am when they arrive, etc. Front desk is a challenging job.


Used to work at Kilimanjaro- loved it You develop a really cool relationship with the animals, and the reserve is very peaceful. Couldn't make it a career, but it was a good job.

The Dream Squad was a great gig - you wandered the parks making people happy! But that's not an option any more so I'll go with Baby Care Center. Air Conditioning and babies all day!!

I asked DH if he could have any job at Disney NOT his own, what would it be, and he said waiter at V&A's.

My "dream job" at Disney would be vocalist with Voices of Liberty, and after my kids are a little older, I do plan to do it!

The person that pressure cleans the pool decks/resorts ( You'd always have a job )

I was up very late one night at the Wilderness Lodge, sitting outside by the pool while the guy was pressure cleaning the area. I watched him and thought what a peaceful job, in the cool of night, with the twinkling lights of the lodge and the people slowly walking from the boat launch area back from a late night at MK...

Ok, I changed my mind, I don't want to be a server at Yak & Yeti, I want to pressure clean the pool area at the Wilderness Lodge at night.

My DH is obsessed with the idea of eventually becoming one of the "men in Hawaiian shirts with ear pieces." He would just love to work undercover for Mickey and take offenders down secret corridors.

As for me? I think I'd love to be his partner in my own Hawaiian shirt! Or, I'd be a Fairy Godmother at BBB, work at the front desk of the Poly or Beach Club, or be a safari driver!

I would love to be the person that coordinates and reports the goings on in each park for social media purposes. IE, I would love to help run and maintain their social media presence on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, et al. That would be so much fun!

I currently am a work from home Disney Travel Agent, the closest I'll ever come to working there. We did get a free conference/cruise on the Disney Dream in Jan. though - that was awesome!! I LOVE my job!!!

in the shops on main street. its air-conditioned but you can hear the hustle and bustle, or a janitor who gets to walk around all day, and take in the sights.

Oh, I also agree with AK, I would LOVE to work with the Giraffes at AK or AKL.
