What is the best "book series" you ever read

Anne of Green Gables. Also Harry Potter

I liked “Hunger Games”and “Divergent” but in both series book 3 ruined things for me.

I still haven’t read the “Outlander” books but need to since I love the series.
Loved Harry Potter as well. Completely agree with the 3rd book of the hunger games and divergent being terrible.

I guess I enjoyed LOTR as well.

I remember loving the lion witch and wardrobe series as a kid. Also the dark is rising series.

The 87th Precinct series by Ed McBain.

The Spenser series by Robert B. Parker.

The Agent Pendergast series by Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child.

The Rachel O'Brien Chronicles by Paisley Ray. The first book was free on Amazon and I was hooked after that. It's a series about a girl in college in the 1980's and I was a girl in college in the 1980's so ...

Despite nearly derailing in the later books, I also love:
The Dark Tower by Stephen King.

The Agent Pendergast series by Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child.

^Haven't read all of these but I do enjoy them even though they are so outlandish.

Even though it's not finished, I really like A Song of Ice and Fire.

I also have a soft spot in my heart for the Green Sky Trilogy and Xanth because that is my childhood right there.

Most recently I enjoyed the Bill Hodges Trilogy.

James Herriott's All Creatures Great and Small series. An English veterinarian in the first half of the 1900s. PBS used to have a TV show based on it. I read through them several times as a kid.
That was my answer as well!

I agree that the Dark Tower series got a little weird in the middle. I really didn’t like the Stephen King cameo. The ending was unbelievable though! I didn’t see it coming at all but I don’t think it could have ended any other way. My favourite book in the series was the wolves of Calla (book 5 I believe). Im tempted to reread the whole series but it’s so long lol

Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time - it took me almost 20 years and I could barely bring myself to turn the last page of the last book. :sad1:

Hard to choose just one, and agree with many that have already been listed. I will add:

Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Roidan
Magnus Chase by Rick Roidan
The Woman’s Murder Club by James Patterson
Eve Dallas series by JD Robb

Growing up, I loved All Creatures Great and Small and The Chronicles of Narnia.

As an adult, I enjoy the Harry Potter series and I still read The Chronicles of Narnia every few years.

For fun reading, I have found myself oddly drawn to Steve Berry's Cotton Malone series and enjoy them a lot.

Too many to list.

The Grant County books by Karin Slaughter
&
The Will Trent series also by Karin Slaughter

Chronicles of Narnia and The Dark Tower are also favorites.
