is the Unofficial Guide to WDW and also in Frommer's WDW & Orlando. But i did go to WDW's website: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/waltdisneyworld/index
and typed Timekeeper in the search box. it gives a short description of the attraction. Unofficial Guide says, "...audio-animatronic characters and a storyline to the long-successful Circle-Vision 360 technology." the robot/mad scientist is Robin Williams, and includes voices of Jeremy Irons and Rhea Perlman. it does warn you not to plan to rest your feet - you stand...
hope you get to see it -
hope i get to see it!
The highlight of the Timekeeper, in my opinion, is the robot AA character that uses the Robin Williams voice-over. It was obviously designed and programed to mimic the body language that we have all come to relate to Robin Williams.
It is absolutely the funniest AA I have ever seen at WDW and the most entertaining. They let Robin run with the dialog and just worked the AA around it.
People didn't like it because you had to stand up for the show but it really wasn't that long a show and the 360 degree screen requires the ability to turn around to get the entire show. It also was hard to find. The entrance is directly across from Alien Encounter and was never really strongly defined. In fact when it is closed, you wouldn't even know it existed. They just close the doors (that look like a wall) and put a bench in front of it and it simply disappears.
It was not the best at WDW but it is a cute little show that can be really entertaining. I personally always made it a point to see it.
I saw Timekeeper on my first visit... 4.5 years ago. This will be my sixth trip and the first time since that it has been open. I am DEFINITELY going!!!! It's wonderful... the robot is my favorite
The new version of Alien Encounter with Stitch is scheduled to reopen in Fall 2004. The rumor is that COP and Timekeeper will be open until then. Of course - everything is subject to change without notice at Disney
