What is something you always have to do in WDW?

1. Space Mountain
2. Take a Picture in front of the Castle
3. Ride the Train around the whole MK park for a break for my feet.
4. Do RD at each park at least once
5. Ride Fantasyland rides while everyone else is watching the parade at night
6. Stay at a different resort than I did last time
7. Make a TP that allows me to do every roller coaster at least twice
8. Must Upgrade to a Park hopper...not optional. Sometimes like to go in and do one or two things.

There are so many but for sure go see the Carousel of Progress because it was my grandpa's favorite attraction. I also have to go to the MK park opening at least once, I just love the opening number and the feeling it gives me.

Ride the people-mover at MK
Ride spaceship earth at Epcot
Ride the safari at AK

Talk to CM'rs, so many fun facts, so many interesting tales to tell.

Sit and watch others rush past. Never forget to take time to stop and smel the flowers:flower3:

This would be shear torture for me. Even at 38, my first instinct is to run down Main St. towards the castle so that I can get to Peter Pan.

Me too! Peter Pan first and last if I can swing it!

Until now we have ALWAYS done rope drope at MK on our first day. This year we can't as I don't think we'll have Disney tickets til day 4 of our trip ! (doing a split stay and had to book tickets with 2nd accommodation in order to get free dining - though hoping I can talk some cast member round to getting our tickets early).

Always have many happy hour beers in the sunshine outside House of Blues at Downtown Disney.

So many things that I don't even think I realise I HAVE to do! :-D

ASMU/POR Dec 16-22, 2012 & POFQ Sept 8-15, 2013

In DLR, PP first. Here, I guess it will ETwB, then PP. DD will be happy, DS, not so much. 1st trip to the world with the kids. We are DLR people.

Have at least three dole whips! :) And the goal for my upcoming trip is to ride the Haunted Mansion in double digits.

I always have to ride it's a small world... It was my Grandma's favorite ride and I always have a feeling she is sitting right next to me every time I ride it.

We always get some form of ice cream (usually a Mickey Sandwich!) at some point in the trip because they are just so good!
Our favorite rides are Soarin and Buzz Lightyear so it isn't a trip without riding those two rides, BTMRR is up there too.
DH and I try to get a beer and a pretzel in Germany every trip, yum!

Take a picture of my daughters sitting on a certain bench on Main Street. I couldn't even tell you where it is, I just know it when I see it and get out my camera. It's funny how much smaller the bench gets each time.

Our next trip will be my fourth and the second for my DW and DDs, so they don't have a lot of "must do's" yet.

That said, there's no way we'll skip:

- Splash Mountain
- Philharmagic
- Wishing
- Safari

It's going to sound silly but I cry at some point on every trip. The first one because I was an adult before I finally got to go and I was so amazed and overwhelmed by my good fortune to be at DISNEY WORLD! I cried when I saw the first palm tree and when we came around the corner and I saw Cinderella's Castle for the first time...yeah. You get the picture.

Sometimes it's something that catches me off guard. My oldest DD telling her daddy that he had to ride IASW because she remembered it from when she was 3 and asking to do it with just him. My DS telling me on our last trip that he hopes one day to have little girls so he can take them to the castle to meet Cinderella.

This last trip it was when I stepped into BOG. My DD was 3 when Beauty and the Beast came out and she probably would have bled Belle at that age so it a special memory for us just like Toy Story is always going to be dear for my DS who is now 18.

I guess what I'm saying is it's not WHAT we ride, it's what it makes us feel. There's something very special about WDW and the memories we've made there.

-Got to ride the ferryboat to MK on our first day there.
-Got to hug Mickey!
-Got to have a Dole Whip.
-(next time) Got to have a Mickey ice cream bar
-Got to ride Winnie The Pooh
-GOT to see Mickey's Philarmagic

Oh! And Buzz, too!

Mickey Ice Cream!

Potc

Ride the ferry to MK

Splash mountain, space mountain

Country bear jamboree! My mom's favorite attraction.

Spend a lot of time in the WS

Always catch the night parade at MK at least once.

Well, the only thing I really HAVE to do is ...something new every time. But I'll admit, riding the monorail whether we have to or not, doing MK at least once each trip and eating a Mickey Ice Cream bar have become tradition. Once I have done most of the things on my bucket list I'll probably add visiting WL each trip to my traditions. Love it! And I always miss the smell of that place!!! Ok, it may have to be a permanent addition from now on.
