What is something you always have to do in WDW?

We have a set list of things to do on our first night. We eat at LTT, watch the MSEP, watch Wishes, and we must ride HM, PotC, and Small World.

- at least 4 safari rides... usually in a row..
- pecos bills for dinner right before MSEP
- stay onsite (we just LOVE the atmosphere)
- I always hi-five cast members wearing mickey hands... it's just fun
- since I'm from Ohio, it's always fun to see someone else wearing something with Ohio State on it, then yell out O-H!!!

Eat a Mickey Bar
Meet Mickey
Eat at Narcoossee's
Particular Rides
Eat a Funnel Cake
Eat at Princess Storybook Breakfast
Shop in Downtown Disney
Have lunch at Earl of Sandwich

Dine at CRT ..breakfast, lunch or dinner there is a must do! I love being in the castle.

Rope drop at MK
Eat a Mickey ice cream sandwich
Eat at Chef Mickey's
Picture of my kids by the castle

I have to see Figment. It's not an option. I once threw a tantrum worthy of a toddler because my husband suggested that we didn't have enough time. Now, he knows better.

Also, we have to do something new every trip. It doesn't particularly matter what it is, just that it's new and something we haven't done before. We've never had a lack of things. This time around, the list is alarmingly large!

My DH has to do the People Mover. Our last trip it seemed like every time we tried to go on it, the ride was broken. He was obsessed with it until we finally were able to get a ride.

1) Get a family photo with Mickey in MK (this always goes into our Christmas Cards each year)
2) have a Dole Whip Float or two or three
3) Stay at a different resort each time
4) Eat at Earl of Sandwich
5) Have our first breakfast at Akershus before the park opens
6) Eat at Crystal Palace before the park opens
7) Get a picture of our girls sitting on the Mickey structure behind CR, this is sort of our growth chart for them.
8) Have some Disney Popcorn because you know the popcorn there is like non other :goodvibes
9) Shop at DTD only at night and make sure to spend a lot of time in my favorite Christmas shop there.
10) Eat at California Grill once if not twice a trip

I couldn't give you just one thing that our family has to do each trip because we have so many things that we have to do while we are in WDW, so this is our top 10 list.

It's going to sound silly but I cry at some point on every trip. The first one because I was an adult before I finally got to go and I was so amazed and overwhelmed by my good fortune to be at DISNEY WORLD! I cried when I saw the first palm tree and when we came around the corner and I saw Cinderella's Castle for the first time...yeah. You get the picture.

Sometimes it's something that catches me off guard. My oldest DD telling her daddy that he had to ride IASW because she remembered it from when she was 3 and asking to do it with just him. My DS telling me on our last trip that he hopes one day to have little girls so he can take them to the castle to meet Cinderella.

This last trip it was when I stepped into BOG. My DD was 3 when Beauty and the Beast came out and she probably would have bled Belle at that age so it a special memory for us just like Toy Story is always going to be dear for my DS who is now 18.

I guess what I'm saying is it's not WHAT we ride, it's what it makes us feel. There's something very special about WDW and the memories we've made there.

Love that. :)

See Mickey @ Every park if I can.....

eat an ice cream sundae @ Storybook treats in Fantasyland. It is underrated!

Take monorail & boat transportation as much as we can vs buses :) More fun to ride monorail & boats ;)

Thats an easy one! Every trip...

1. Stand on Main Street with tears running down my cheeks as I get my first look at that beautiful castle

2. Stand on Main Street with tears running down my cheeks as I get one final look at that beautiful castle

It has been a tradition since my first trip to Disney, we always watch MSEP/Spectro at the Indian statue on Main Street. That's our "spot". Always has been always will be.

Most of our "must dos" have been listed already but a couple things we like to do outside of the parks are:

1) Walk (leisurely) from Hollywood Studios to Epcot, especially when the sun is going down.
2) Get ice cream from Boardwalk ice cream shop and relax while eating and people watching on Boardwalk
3) Play mini-golf at night at Fantasia Gardens

You might be able to tell that we LOVE the area between Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

Must always do Magic Kingdom first day, love to see the first site of the Castle coming around the circle from the main gate and then off to ride Pirates - it's a set tradition.

I always - always! - need to have a Mickey-eared ice cream bar! I also try to have Mickey-shaped waffles at least once!
