What is so special about Tuesday and Wednesdays in Disneyland?

In making my ressies for June for Disneyland, and watching the availability I noticed that it seems like Tuesdays and Wednesdays filled up first... I was curious what that was all about?

We are walking talking Disneyworld encyclopedias but know little to nothing about Disneyland.... so thanks for all your help.

This week it is a holiday and kids don't have school Wednesday.

if your talking about dining reservations they are not available for any days this far in advance at DL!!

If you are talking hotel reservations, if I remember correctly they keep week dates block for upcoming discounts and stuff like that. So once they roll those discounts out there is room availability.

If you're talking about hotel ressies, I think people are now thinking that mid-week may be a wee bit less crowded in the parks and are starting to begin vacations midweek rather than Sat or Sun. I think once school's out the difference is negligible.

yes hotel ressies.... thanks... that is kind of what I thought too.. but when I saw it for multiple weeks..... I began to wonder a bit about if I am missing something about Tuesdays and Wednesdays.....

Typically, those guests who want to spend more than a few days at Disneyland (like a one week trip) arrive on Tuesday and Wednesdays. Weekend guests tend to arrive on Friday and Saturdays. Making Tuesdays & Wednesdays the overlap days = more people.

In the past Sundays and Mondays were generally less busy. I'm not sure how true this still is.

If you are looking at hotels that are used for convention guests, then the weekdays would book sooner.

Wednesday in beginning of september was so quiet.

Walking through the shops in main street there were hardly anyone in them.
