That's all my 6 yr old wants to hear lately, The Wiggles!!!

Our 5yr old DD and our 8 1/2 month old DS love the Wiggles too.
To get the baby to quit fussing all I need to do is sing 'Fruit Salad Yummy Yummy'!!! :)

Same here with our 2 1/2 year old -- although (thankfully :teeth: ) he's starting to get away from Wiggles and most of the Disney stuff and more into shows like Dora and Blue's Clues (which, IMO, are more bearable for adults :) )

Add me to the list! I've got a 5yo dd and a 2 1/2yo dd that both LOVE the Wiggles!! WHAT is that?? My 2 1/2 yo also goes around singing "fruit salad, yummy yummy".

It seems like the Wiggles are to you guys what Barney was when my son was little. I could turn on Barney and he would sit for hours.

I wish I knew, both my daughters (1 & 3) are hooked.
Hot Potato Hot Potato...

I have no idea but the 3 year old I sit for is hooked.I do find myself humming some of the songs

So far we have only had limited interest in the Wiggles from DS. He will smile and try to dance a little but he usually is distracted by a toy or something else. However, he LOVES the "Great Big Book of Everything Song" from Stanley. He gets real excited and all you have to do is to start singing it and he will laugh. :teeth:

My 2 year old has loved the Wiggles ever since they started appearing on the Disney Channel. We listen to them in the car and she always has her videos or dvds on. I don't think I can take much more of the Wiggles!!!!!

My three-year-old nephew is hooked and I must admit, they're not too hard on the eyes! The Dorothy the Donosaur song gets stuck in a loop in my head sometimes. Kind of like "Small World" does...oh no, it's starting again...............

I have "Get Ready To Wiggle" on mental repat and it's almost as bad as Dorothy's song(but I'll admit that they are kinda cute,a saving grace for baby-sitters everywhere:) )

I watched 5 minutes of a Wiggles video once in an attempt to calm down a 1 year old I was babysitting and I will forever have that Fruit Salad song stuck in my head. :p And she started crying again when they stopped singing and started doing magic tricks, hehe.

My oldest LOVED the wiggles and fortunately my youngest isn't in to them...
We have all their singing/dancing tapes...lol...Never could get into the TV show..

Well, from a fellow Aussie of the Wiggles, they sure seem to be at the top in Kids entertainment.

Personally I can't stand them, but then I don't have any littlies. My two are 13 & 14 & can't stand them either:)

I'm a Wiggles fan. *hangs head in shame* My DD2 LOVES Barney. On one of my older daughters old Barney tapes it had a snippit of the Hot Potato song. She loved that. I decided to buy a Wiggles video. She played that thing over and over and over until I knew every song and would catch myself singing to it.:( We just recently got the Disney channels on Satellite and I admit I turn it on there on my own free will. I sit there thinking how ridiculous it is but I can't stop singing the darn songs! HELP!

Avery loves the Wiggles! We have a tape (I think the Yummy Yummy tape) and she loves the Monkey song. She has gotten really good at jumping really fast from watching this video.

Do the Monkey....
Do the Elephant...
Jump to the Front and the Back....

 ;) :)

Earlier tonight I witnessed, first-hand, my 18mo old niece dancing to Head, shoulders, knees & toes. She was doing the knees & toes part so fast, I was laughing hysterically! She also does fruit salad and, rubs her tummy! Cracked me up!

Of course my 5yo green-eyed monster, DD, wanted to mimic her cousin. Ahhh, the attention!

My brother and I agreed we'd take the kids next time they come to Chicago (I hope they do). Can't believe we used to attend Huey Lewis & the News concerts together. Now, it's the Wiggles????? Oh my!

;)
