What is it about TTA??!

I loved the wedway when I was a kid and I still love it! What a great place to sit and relax while getting a bit of a breeze. One of my favorite attractions! :thumbsup2

HA! That's me and my sisters favorite quote!
We also do the "now approaching MIckey's Star Traders"
and we used to also do "Now approaching Space Mountain sponcered by Federal Express" (I know it's not sponsered by them anymore)

My thoughts EXACTLY!! LONG LIVE TTA!!!!

It is one of dd (4) favorite rides. she talks about riding it 5 or 6 times. Can we do it again next year? This is one of our timeless favorites.

Our DS5 loves this!! He calls it the "blue train". It could be he likes it so much because I nursed him on it when he was a baby?? :confused3

ahhhhhh the wedway people mover.

My sentiments exactly! I love it and it will always be the people mover to me! We took DGD 16 months on it last May and she insisted on sitting by herself. Every time we went around those sharp curves she tipped over and laughed and laughed. It was great.

The TTA may actually be my favorite ride in Disney. Seriously. Something about it just makes me so darned happy that I can't stop smiling. :)

Have to agree - so glad to find others that love TTA too.

I road it for the first time in November. We loved it. I don't know how we avoided it this long. LOL

My DD and I love it too, especially when it is dark. It is a place to sit down and relax, it's not really noisy, and the views are great. My DD and I have great conversations about what we have done so far, and what wil will do next!

Last time we were on it, when we got to Space Mtn we thought we had gone the wrong way or something as all the lights were on inside and you could actually see the tracks. They must have had to shut it down temporarily, as the next time through - we stayed on for a second time around - the lights were back out!

TTA is awesome. For a few minutes, it is peaceful and I actually feel like we're the only family in the park. Can't wait to go back on!

So strange, the last 2 or 3 trips we have been at WDW there has been a long line to get on this! The last time I checked it was a 30 min wait! No idea what was going on, and the park was not to busy. Once was during MNSSHP, Oct 6 ish time frame...
I must have tried getting on 4 or 5 times last May and a couple times in Oct and each and every time there was a line. I couldn't believe it!
So if you are going to be there late next week and want on I will post what day we will be at MK so you all can know when there will be a line for this ride... and the last week of this May also....

We love TTA. It is the one ride you can always get right on no matter what the crowds are like. It is so relaxing and such a good way to cool off when it is hot. I've actually almost fallen asleep on it. Sometimes, if the CMs don't mind, we ride it multiple times in a row without getting off.

TTA--it's so lame! :rotfl: OK, I gotta publicly admit it. I just love the lame rides at WDW. They feel so magical and retro. I feel like I'm a little kid again!

originally when Is seen this post I was thinking the TTC....and I was saying to myself why would anyone want to go to the TTC :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

then I realized, after a few posts, that it is the WEE PEOPLE MOVER,,,,,,

my kids who are teens only know it as that.
we ride it each and every time we got to MK
it is a total MUST DO for us

it is so enjoyable on a hot day to just relax and soak all of Tomorrowland in
I believe this is the most underrated ride in all of wdw.

The best time to ride it is when SM is down for rehab or just minor work

It is totally awesome riding the TTA and seeing SM totally lit up.....It gives you a great appreciation of the ride. IMHO it is like your own tour so to speak.

I love the TTA because to me it represents Walt Disney's optimistic view of the future. I remember watching Wonderful World of Disney on Sunday nights in the 1960s when I was a kid. Mr. Disney always introduced each show. I remember one night in particular when he had a model of WDW and talked about the fantastic place he was building in Florida. It was all about the future! To me, nothing represents the Mr. Disney's vision better than the TTA. (I'm also very nostalgic about the monorail and the Contemporary Resort).

Actually, it's the linear induction motors!!! How cool are they?

I LOVE this ride also! (though I'm not sure I'd want to spend a D-ticket -- more like a C -- to ride it which is what it was "priced" at back in the olden days)

My husband and I love the "blue train" as we call it, but our poor kids (8 and 5) are bored to tears on it. Poor pips!

We were just talking about it last night, about how excited we were to see "our" ride again and that the kids will be bored. Boo hoo!

We're celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary on our trip. Our wedding bands were stolen years ago. What hubby doesn't know is that I'm going to present him with a new wedding band--while we're on the blue train! His parents and our kids will be there, and it will be the goofiest, romantic moment of the trip. :) I can't wait!

It is always our first ride at WDW and our last!! I think that dd and I must have done 8 rides in a row last summer. We just love it.
