I was looking at the schedule for when we are going to Disneyland. I noticed that in CA Adventure they list the Hollywood Pictures Backlot starting at 11:00 and pretty much running on the hour. There is not a location listed.

Can you tell me what this is and where it is at?

Once you head into DCA, the Backlot is on the left. It's where Monsters Inc., Tower of Terror, Muppets 3D etc. are located. They have a stage near the Monsters Inc. ride that has a singing show, so maybe that's what it is?

Yeah because Hollywood Pictures Backlot is considered a "land", like the different "lands" in Disneyland

The show is "Drawn to the Magic" the location is Hollywood Pictures Backlot

Thank you, I just went back to the disneyland.com schedule and noticed that it now says Drawn to the Magic. The schedule I was looking at originally I printed several days ago.

So what is Drawn to the Magic?

I caught a few moments of it yesterday while I was walking through the area. It didn't seem like an elaborate show - no elaborate costumes or set, at least not during any parts I saw. They were singing songs from Disney films as well as some original songs for the show. Again I only saw a few minutes of it, so I can't be of much help!

I like this show. Yes, it's pretty simple, but it's not a bad break from walking. The actors sing about drawings that they've "made" of Disney characters. At the end, the 3 characters appear. I've always seen Cinderalla, Woody, and Mickey (fantasia). The characters stick around afterward for a meet and greet.

Three Disney "artists" sing about the power and the magic of fantasy and what they like about the Disney magic.

It is a kind of cute show, we make a point out of watching it at least once. It's not the Aladdin musical, but it is nicely done. Plus like Nala said, the characters stay around for Meet & Greets after the shows, and the lines are never that long. We've once seen Snow White instead of Cinderella and Peter Pan instead of Mickey.

They choose 3 kids to participate and at the end give the sketch drawing to the kids (at least they did that at the show I watched). DD received the Cinderella sketch. :goodvibes
