Or at least years when we don't HEAR about the accidents.

There are bus incidents all the time at WDW. It's just that the media is paying attention to Disney transportation issues right now.

buses have accidents everyday. It's just there is more of an eye on them right now with the monorail accident. there was an accident in April that also sent someone to the hospital and they only place I read about it was a stitchkingdom I think.
Plus, The Orlando Sentenal "hates" Disney. They try to find every negative story they can.
I am gald to see that no one was seriously injuried, but I guess there will be a few people who will think now only boats are safe at Disney

Accidents are just that...accidents. I'm sad to hear that the Orlando paper is so negative...they must have had a field day with the issues with Mission Space.
I'm glad no one was injured...but I think we can see from the monorail accident...instead of bailing out of the drivers seat there was report that the driver of the purple monorail tried to put it in reverse...CM's do their best to keep everyone safe...Isn't that the first key to the kingdom anyway?
