Cranky, lately - sheesh.

There have been several threads lately where I have contemplated weighing in but wasn't in the mood to get beat up. I only post on the Dis on the days my skin is feeling thick. I have no problem with opposing viewpoints (that is one of the wonderful things about having such a widespread community) but sometimes people can be so extreme and it's their way or the highway.

I'm never all that sensitive about snarkiness on these boards (it is an internet forum after all), but I had exactly the same thought recently. And that's not like me at all.

I actually had what I thought was a slight differing of opinions regarding a figure of speech yesterday. I just thought "hey, it just means something different to me" but she was crazy about it....it would have gone on forever. It wasn't even remotely important. I have never been involved in something like that here. And I've been here for more than a few years.

Who wants to take a virtual vacation from this place with me????
