what is free DP & how do you get it?

I keep reading about this on the boards and have no idea how you get it? Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks

Free dining is not available to DVC members staying on points. The "Free" dining is a promo offered by Disney, normally during hurricane season, to fill the resorts with full price cash guests. To qualify, you must get park tickets for each member of your party and pay full cash rack rate for a room, utilizing a package.
