What is Ebay's "Final Value Fee"?

I can't seem to find the answer on Ebay.

What is Ebay's fee to the seller after an item is sold? I gather it's based on the final value, but I can't seem to find the percentage of that price.

It varies depending upon the final selling price of your item

There are some variances but for the most part, current fees are 10% (10% of the sale price AND 10% of the S&H collected from buyer)

eBay just recently went to a flat final value fee model. 10% of the total amount of the sale like a PP said, unless you have an eBay store in which case the fees are slightly discounted.

Don't forget the Paypal fees as well. That hits the seller, not the buyer.

You're right. You should assume about 3% for Paypal fees as well.

I think Paypal fees are 4%.
