What is best way to get from WL to AKL?

We want to go check out the Animal Kindom Lodge one afternoon. We are staying at Wilderness Lodge. What is best way toget there> We have a car but we make it a goal to never use it. We love the busses. We thought about bus to AK then get on bus to AKL. Any thoughts?

Your idea is probably the best. Although you can catch a bus to the AKL from any of the theme parks. I always suggest people use a theme park to get to another Disney resort. Saves time if you are finished with that theme park for the day and are heading to the bus stop anyway.

Yeah, I would take the first bus to any of the parks, then grab the AKL bus from there. And if you feel like a boat ride, maybe the boat to MK then hoof it over to the bus stop for AKL. Epcot, MGM or AK would all probably be easier tho.

I am definately with you on that one. I'm on vacation not to drive thx, and when DME starts up I won;t even think about getting a car at WDW (and those who have them will have more places to park too).
