A few I can think of include Bose wave radio that travels from the house to the camper and back, glow sticks for the kids and Jenga.

Wall mounted tooth brush holders.

We have an Aliner so storage space is at a premium. We added heavy duty triangular wire picture hangers every 12 inches or so to the underside of the peak. We hang various things from them, primarily a recycled plastic shower curtain rod. On it we hang clothes, jackets, wet towels... :laundy:

We add'd alarge PVC pipe with screw-on caps both ends to the full length of the bumper,,big enough to hold 4 fishing rod'n reels,,:thumbsup2

Grandma!....... All kidding aside I think one of the best additions we made was the "Heat strip" in the A/C..Keeps the chill off when you really don't need the furnace in the early spring or late fall.

A Dishwasher. I hated doing the dishes when it was my turn.

Our MH had 2 ovens in it so we removed 1 We still have the large Convection/Microwave oven

Since you couldn't really get anything in the gas oven We took out the gas stove/oven & installed a Fisher and paykal dish drawer dishwasher. I found an Amana stove top that was identical to the stove top that was part of the stove/oven combo. and a perfect fit.

Now camping is fun.

We're currently in a 21' hybrid with 3 dogs, and we're spending 3 weeks at a time at FW, so anything at all that allows us to store more/use our space better has been key. Mostly racks, hang bars, drawer set in the closet...

My latest favorite is a corner shelf DH mounted for the under-the-counter TV we bought. He built it himself and stained it to match. Looks great and is in what was essentially dead space before.

Um, oh yeah... I forgot to mention this is the TV we got so the dogs would have something on at their end of the camper while we were out. Yeah... we're "those" people... :rotfl: :dogdance:

How do you like your Aliner? What do you use to pull it. Dh has a truck but I really don't like to drive it but dh sometimes is not a great driver when he is in strange territory.

Dh and I am thinking about one and would like to hear from someone who uses it. It would just be for dh and I since the boys are now 19 and 24.

Thanks for any info you have.

2 6v and 1 group 27 AGM battery and a thousand watt inverter. I can run the furnace fan off the battery and my cpap machine for a couple of nights if needed. Helped on the way down for the overnight in Pennsylvania where it got down to 30 or so at night.

We have a 32' Class C and we did a wall mount TV in the bedroom. We have a shelf that we put it on, but each time we came and went it had to be packed in a closet. Closet space is not much if you don't have a slide in the bedroom, so doing a perm. wall mount was great. Yes, we are one of "those" people also because we leave the TVs on for the dogs when we do the parks. They love the girl demonstrating all the rides on the Disney Channel. LOL

We bought our Aliner Sport (Weekender package) in May of this year and the trip to FW was our first long one. We pull it with a Subaru Forester, which has a tow rating of 2500 lbs. The gas mileage drops from 27 to 20 while towing and we understand that we will not be the fastest vehicle up long grades. The weekender package has a narrow twin bed in front and a dinette in the back that we have set up permanently as a full sized twin bed. It came with a refrigerator, three burner stove, sink, microwave, and air conditioner. It has a good bit of storage; but, I wouldn't call it ample. With an Aliner, one must be sensible when packing. We added brakes at the recommendation of Subaru. Being so short, we haven't yet mastered the fine art of backing; however, all we have to do is unhook it and push it into place. We are two 50 something year old ladies and we handle it just fine.

My wife's cpap will run on a 200 watt invertor. We have a large invertor too. but when we run the cpap on the 200 watt invertor we can run it for over a week without recharging the 6 volts.

We added a toaster oven so we can toast and bake most things without using the oven. We also bought a 20' LP hose so we can run our grill off of one of our RV tanks and not have to buy all of those expensive little tanks.

:) We have a hybrid... we added a privacy curtain..it goes across from the entrance door to the pantry on the opposit wall, at night we close the curtain, seperating the kitchen and 2 bed pop-outs from the couch/dining area and queen pop-out..that way we can get comfortable after the kids go to bed ;)

I added a wireless headphone transmitter in our MH that utilizes the headphones we already owned for our minivan. Great for long trips! I mean, as much as I love Monsters Inc. and Shrek, how many times can you listen to them?

My favorites are the popup Gizmos to keep out the FL heat when we are at the Fort, and the dividers DH built into the under seat storage so everyone can have their own cubby. Oh, and the chess set, beer, and Jimmy Buffett music!

Where to begin?! We bought new pop-up this summer (although I can't use it right now) with loads of great things....egg crate for the bed, stereo system, running water, electric thingamajig to raise roof. But the best thing....a toilet!
