I saw this thread stating about certain clothing being unappropriate and that WDW has policies about unappropriate attire. What if someone has tattoos that you may not think is appropriate. What are tattoos that you would find offense to. Would you suggest that they cover it up? What would you want them to do? My boyfriend and I both have tattoos, I don't think we have anything offensive at least I don't think we do. I have this one tattoo on my thigh that is two pinup girls that are completely dressed, but they are pretty voluptuous. Last time I went to WDW about two years ago I wore jeans everyday because I did not want to offend anyone. Would you be upset or offended with me if I wore shorts.

I would not be offended, to tell the truth I more than likely would not even notice I get so wrapped up in my vacation with my family.


I went to the link to see it. I would not sweat in jeans!! I don't think it is bad at all.

So long as your tattoos are not something I would have to explain to an inquisitive child, it wouldn't bother me any. I find people who wear barely any clothing, but don't ahve the body to pull it off something I would prefer not to see ( I refer to this as broken mirror syndrome--if the mirror wasn't broken I'm sure they would never have left the house looking like that!). T shirts that display sexual acts are something I find offensive and the plain ones with the BIG F*** Off on them--well I fail to see the point I guess and prefer my eager readers not practice that way! You should wear shorts if you are comfortable with the nature of the body art. I mean if they were in poor taste I guess I could understand keeping them covered in a family friendly environment, but I wouldn't suggest you sacrifice your comfort in case someone might be offended by you. I am overweight, but I will still wear shorts (not too short) although some people find fat offensive!

People with young kids will definitely have different opinions from those who don't. I don't mind shorts, swim suit tops, or most fairly skimpy things. It is hot in Florida and I love it that way. Thongs might be a differnt story at the pools though! As for offensive T-shirts, tatoos and the like I just don't want my young ones exposed to that. These are just wrong anywhere. Would you want to explain this stuff to an eight year old? My kids are great readers, tabloids at the check out bug me too. Disney is for families, we don't go to Vegas for a reason!! BTW, I am not so skinny myself. People come in all different shapes and sizes and that's okay by me. As long as the shorts are modest, I see no reason for larger people to sweat in pants!!

Tattoos have become fashionable, and with the newer, brighter colors really are works of art (IMO). I'm too chicken to get one, but don't find them offensive, unless the subject matter is just way over the top.

For one opinion, if this is the biggest thing I have to worry about at Disney, it will be a fine trip. Worry not, it's hardly offensive.

I don't think your tatoos would be offensive to anyone. Definitely wear shorts.

As the mother of two young boys, what offended me was the people who might as well not have any clothes on at all. We saw several women whose breasts and butts were not anywhere near inside their clothing. It made my boys uncomfortable, so it made me uncomfortable.

Now that my boys are pre-teens, I'm still worried about people who might as well be nude. I am NOT worried about someone's tatoo!

Go, have a good time, and don't give your tatoos a second thought!

Hi! I looked at the tattoo with the women. As a mother of a 6 and 8 year old, I do not see anything offensive. I've seen people in the MK wearing less clothing than the women in your tattoo.

Go, wear your shorts, and have a super trip!

I agree with what the previous posters have said regarding your tattoo... Go ahead and wear shorts! It's hardly offensive, and it would be silly to think otherwise. If everyone else is letting it all hang out (some more than others, apparently), why should you have to melt away in a pair of steamy jeans?

On a side note, I personally think that it's so nice for you to even be concerned about other people's feelings regarding your tattoo. Considerate people can be a rare breed sometimes, but I'm glad to see that there are still some left out there!

Here here! The simple fact that you asked shows a lot. There's a lot of posts about what annoys people at Disney, very few asking if somethings ok! I take leadership from your post, and it will make me all the more aware of what I'm doing to other people, rather than what they are doing to me.

I wouldn't worry about it at all! Look, it's no worse than Jessica from Roger Rabbit, right?

Some people will always be offended by something. However, the VAST majority will not care. Believe me, I see teens at WDW wearing worse than what is depicted in that tatoo. You have nothing to worry about.
