I see everyone talking about AP rates, what are they?

They are discount rates that apply to Annual Passholders. Disney occasionally releases discount rates on their resort rooms to entice annual passholders to come more often to WDW.

For AP holders, the savings could be substantial, since tickets are already paid for, the room is discounted, and AP holders get other discounts, it's a great enticement to come again and again.
