Is it spicy and can we order the prime rib without it? (DH can't have anything with spice, has to be a bland).

Thanks :)

From what I know of a "demi glaze" I'd assume it's sweet. It's a french brown sauce that they put on meats, and from the title- I'd say it's a slightly sweet sauce made w/ veal stock.

At Disney you can order just about anything without something if you don't want it! :thumbsup2

thank you...I'm just wondering if it's something the meat has been marinated in, making it's impossible to have it without it.

I guess we'll inquire when we go to LeCellier, it's good to know we can ask to have it without the glaze.

Demi Glace is a type of sauce that is made with stock (and other things but I am not going into the whole process, cause it takes forever). It's cooked down until it is thick and shiny. It's savory more than sweet but there is a bit of sweetness there from the caramelized vegetables in the stock that is initially used.

It's absolutly delicious. No spice at all. Most people really love it.
