What is a UMD MINI for PSP?

I was just about to place an order with Amazon for a DVD and noticed it said it's a UMD mini for PSP, What? I just want a DVD!

I know that PSP's (PlayStation Portable) have a special format that can be played on them. I would assume that is what this is.

UMD mini is the smaller disk size and format for movies on the PlayStation Portable. They will not play in a DVD player, only the PSP.
