From August 2003 to May 2004 when SSR opened its doors, what incentives were offered, and how did they compare to the recent F & F promotion? Thanks, Matt

I believe it was $79 pre-construction and December UY which resulted in an extra year of points for some.

Wow!! $79 pre-construction in 2003 to a projected $101 in March 2006-or even $98 now. boy am I glad I got in with F&F!!

The $79 was not the full retail at the time, $89 was. :)

you are right it was 89 with 10 discount. we bought in Oct with a use year of April and didn't close to May so had no costs I do think we got points too.

Hi: Are you talking about 2003 or 2004 points? Matt :confused3

We bought in Sept (also April UY) & if I remember correctly it was EITHER 10 off or points.

Sorry Oct 03 purchased, closed May or June 04. Can't remember about points but thought we did get 03 points too. It was an add on so may be it was different. Then points for O4 but no cost til whenever it actually closed and the units opened.

That was the price we paid. We bought in mid August of 2003 with Dec use year. BCV sold out the week before we bought.

That's right. The initial SSR contract we had from August 2003 was $79 with a December UY. We ended up buying more points, buying outright instead of financing and ended up getting a new contract in September with a February 2004 UY. Still the $79 price, but lost the extra year.

I would buy at $79 again in a heartbeat.

Are you saying they gave you 2 different use years? Seems like you should have been allowed on your second contract to still have the Dec use year with the points, if I'm understanding you correctly. For me, paying $79 without points is like paying $89 with points, which is what I did. I also have a Feb 04 use year. :)

They did. No, I did not get the option of keeping the December UY.

Let me explain further. Our original contract was December with 165 points, and the 2nd was February with 180 points. We did a number of changes to that original contract - for example I also added DH's name to the 2nd contract, and we ended up not financing in the end.

We got the new February contract upon adding DH's name and adding the additional points.

I think the deal with the December UY is that it's actually 51 years, not 50.

I wound up with 400 pts total, 300 & 100 both with Feb use year at $79 per point. I feel as if I lost $4000 in value because there were no additional points. Similar, I guess to buying a "stripped" resale contract.
