I have been out and about going and going through pictures. I have decided to try and incorporate several things in my pictures at once when I can. Wanted more of a challenge.

Artist at work. Not as happy with this picture as I could be but it's what I have for now

Azalea - I was lucky to find this as they were mostly out of bloom

Autograph(s) - My DGS had a class trip and this was in the museum at the Ball Park. The autographs of Babe Ruth and Connie Mack meant the most. My first ball games were attended at Connie Mack Stadium and family lore has my DH being related to Babe Ruth. Not sure if it's true but it is what we have been told.

These are all Baseball in Flight. My oldest DGS plays baseball for his High School as a starting pitcher and an infielder. I have been taking pictures of him from the time he started and I think my skills have improved. I love taking pictures of him and it's the only time he doesn't complain.

@PythonFan888 That looks like a GREAT vacation! I love that Sedona area. Did you spend long there?

Thanks @PrincessInOz! It was a quick 4-day photography trip with my brother-in-law who just got his new Sony A7ii. Sedona was a brief drive through on our way from Phoenix to Flagstaff. We were hoping to catch the light of the setting sun at Red Rocks but a deadly road accident blocked traffic and we had to ditch our plans and proceed directly to Flagstaff. We did get some shots on the Scenic Byway. Our main targets were Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend.

Wiki still has the best description:
"Montezuma Castle National Monument protects a set of well-preserved Ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings near the town of Camp Verde, Arizona, United States. The dwellings were built and used by the Sinagua people, a pre-Columbian culture closely related to the Hohokam and other indigenous peoples of the southwestern United States, between approximately 1100 and 1425 AD. The main structure comprises five stories and twenty rooms, and was built over the course of three centuries.
Neither part of the monument's name is correct. When European-Americans first observed the ruins in the 1860s, by then long-abandoned, they named them for the famous Aztec emperor Montezuma in the mistaken belief that he had been connected to their construction (see also Montezuma mythology). In fact, the dwelling was abandoned more than 40 years before Montezuma was born, and was not a "castle" in the traditional sense, but instead functioned more like a "prehistoric high rise apartment complex"."

@PythonFan888 Hoping to see Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe bend on this thread at some stage. I hit that area in Sept 2013 and we had a great time. Glad you stayed safe on the drive.

Bird Eating Close Up* This bird is the Noisy Miner bird. The Noisy Miner feeds on nectar, fruits and insects. Very occasionally they will eat small reptiles and amphibians. Food is either taken from trees or on the ground. In keeping with its highly social nature, the Noisy Miner usually feeds in large groups.

The original Tim Ho Wan store is in Hong Kong. It's the cheapest 1-Michelin Star restaurant in the world and queues in the Hong Kong stores can wait up to 4 hours before they are seated. Tim Ho Wan is coming to Australia....and this is the Chatswood store in Sydney.

Delicious! Tim Ho Wan serves Dim Sum! This is one of the special dishes. Baked Pork buns. The pork buns are normally steamed in any normal dim sum restaurant and it was easy to see how THW acquired that Michelin star.

Dessert in a Restaurant* Rum Baba, at the Sydney Theatre Company Cafe/Restaurant

Decadent This was the dessert sampler from Le Trader restaurant in Pyrmont, Sydney. We had honey, macadamia and caramel icecream, creme brulee and chocolate fondant on the plate.

Cotton Candy This variety is Pashmak. It's the Persian Cotton Candy made from sesame and sugar.

Fruit Anyone else spot the Apple in the French Toast???

Thanks again. I did post a couple of slot canyon shots in the PotD thread. We signed up for the 8-hour 4-canyon gig with Adventurous Antelope Canyon Photography Tours. Aside from Antelope Canyon, they had access to 3 other canyons not usually frequented by tourists. However, because of flooding we had to cut our tour to just three canyons. We started our 5-hour photo trek with Owl canyon - residence of several great horned owls.
