what i wish my resort had

Thought I would start a thread where we can post what we wish our DVC resorts had. Each resort has its own things that make it cool and different from other DVC resorts. I have stayed at everyone now except BLT and some I would stay there again just because I liked something extra special.

Anyways, at SSR they had movies by the pool one eve. that was fantastic. My kids got to swim and I got to sit in a lounger chair..perfect weather, fairly quiet and I watched tarzan.
AKV is my favorite resort right now. The thing that would make them perfect would be movies by th pool.
Oh, and a boat to ride to somewhere..like SSR has the boat to DTD, However, I figure that request isnt possible, so i will stick with the movie idea.

I wish the Goods to Go was more elaborate (maybe more like Capt. Cooke's or Mara) and a larger store.

I wish the Boardwalk had an indoor CS with some seating (maybe similar to Mara at the AKL). For a while, there was talk of ESPN moving to DTD (is that still planned?). If that had happened, I had hoped that all, or a part of the space, could've been dedicated for CS dining, but alas, 'twasn't to be...........

I also wish Boardwalk had a CS area. I know the bakery has a few selections but it's way too small & the variety is no good

I wish Kidani had something like Mara. (At least I have to get some exercise in by walking to Jambo though for my Zebra domes).

And of course I second having an indoor CS at BW. The bakery menu is way too limited, and it would be nice to get coffee somewhere closer than the other side of the BW.

I wish they had a spa, lilke at Saratoga or the GF. It's easy enough to take the monorail over the the GF, but nothing can ruin a nice afternoon at the spa like a rowdy group of kids sharing your monorail car on the way back!

I am just going to make in generic...better CS at all the DVC resorts. I know Disney planned them smaller thinking that the DVC guests would be eating in their rooms more, but we still use them a lot! I wish they would make them bigger, better options or even have one (BWV)! Disney missed the mark on this one in my opinion!!!

I have to agree that I wish, wish, wish Boardwalk would have some sort of counter service! Especially for Breakfast. The bakery has a long line and very limited options.

Another vote for more/better CS. The larger resorts, like SSR, would benefit from having a food court (like the one at POR)

I wish SSR had flatscreen LCD tvs. That's it really. Get some LG tvs, probably swap the armoires since they don't work with modern televisions, and I'm a happy camper.

Then I can plug in my media player for watching any movie from my library or hook up my laptop via HDMI and I can watch whatever via internet or Slingbox back home.

I'm guessing I'll get my wish sooner rather than later. Next room replenishments probably.

what would make your favorite resort perfect?

We were at Kidani in March and they had movies at the pool M-W-F. Unfortunately, the Friday movie was rained out and we missed the other two.

I think Kidani will be much improved by the addition of a CS option on site without having to go to Jambo. For that matter, all DVC resorts can be improved by a greater CS option, like a previous poster noted. They are way too small for the sizes of most of the resorts and can get very crowded.

I'm pretty happy with the CS at BLT/CR, can't remember the name. You know, the one next to Chef Mickey's.

What I would like to see at BLT is:

1. Underground parking (or a parking garage with a grass roof) so you would not need to be staring at a parking lot from your MK view room.
