What have you bought on QVC?

Just ordered their todays special value. A digital photo album. I order from them alot. Most good. Some returns.

I bought that also! One for me and one for MIL for Mother's day! LOL I actually forwarded forwarded it to Dan Murphy for Marie and Natalie! (I thought they could put pics of that sweet little Jeremy on theirs!! Dan takes great phots so I thought he'd appreciate the idea. He probably thought I was crazy!

I have Cooks Essentials Cookware (love it), a coffee maker (use it every single day), Eterna Gold hoops earrings and several other pieces, my VCR/DVD player is from there, Bare Essentials, Johnathan shampoo, Amazing Grace, Smashbox eyeliner (all of which I can now buy at Sephora). I used to buy all of the Weekly reader sets that were the TSV--they were always terrific! I bought my Foodsaver from QVC (which I LOVE! watch out Mare!!)

I have been shopping there almost 18 years and I have really enjoyed it. If something doesn't live up to expectations I will send it back. Their guarantee is wonderful.

I buy Serious Skin Care from HSN for DD. Lauren Hutton Face Disks come from HSN.

I have talked on QVC twice over the years. Once to Judy Crowl (is that her name? who is now on HSN) while she was doing a Eterna gold show. That was probably when I fisrt started shopping with them.
And once to Rick Delmire (is that HIS last name? Geez...) during Weekly Reader books many years ago. He is not a favorite of mine and they asked me to speak on air. I only said OK because their book collections were so great!
And who would know it was me??? Well, my long lost Dad's cousin over in NC, that's who! :rotfl:
She calls my grandmother and asks, "Does brenda shop on QVC?" Nana says, "What? Who? Oh no way. She'd never shop from the TV!" :rolleyes1

Uh...yeah, Nana, I actually do. :lmao: Joan says to her, "Well, I think it might have been her. Ask her!". Too funny. And Joan...if you read the DIS also, please just do not tell me, OK? :rotfl:

I always do automated ordering now or order on-line so I'll probably never speak on air.
I always loved listening to Kathy Levine from years ago. She was great company at night when DH used to be gone all the time. I had a friend meet her last summer! Pretty cool...except my friend didn't even know her! :headache:

Ah, QVC, my dear dear friend... I prefer it to HSN, I just feel that QVC has better quality products. I have had to return everything I've ever bought fron HSN (although I do lurk when the Toni Pony and Jessica Simpson hair are on!)

Shows I never miss - and regularly buy from - are: Smashbox (love their cream eye liner), Birkenstocks (anyone else miss Sally??), Breezies bras (I love the one with the "floating frame"), and of course, DIAMONIQUE (I have a few Epiphany and white gold rings)! I don't leave the house during Diamonique Week. :lmao:

I also have better luck with QVC. I do love Smashbox's eyeliners. In fact, I bought that waterproof bronze colored one from the last show and it came with a brush that makes eyeliner application a breeze (even better than the normal brush they have that is flat!).

I bought the last Birki TSV and am loving them. Yes, I miss Sally! I own 3 Brezies bras and like them too! Oh and I have Spanx from QVC which were the panty hose that were reversible from brown to black. I have had them for YEARS they last and last. great product.

Ok, ok, I also have 3 pieces of Diamonique. ;)

So far, I think I'm "winning on this thread". You all should know , though, that I do not get out and shop much else and I always pay my Q-card in full so do not worry about my debt. :rotfl:

Oh my gosh, I think the correct question would be "what haven't I bought on QVC"? Let's see, I've bought multiple digital cameras, makeup, clothes, kitchen items, my wonderfully comfortable mattress, shoes, scrapbook supplies, undergarments, jewelry, you name it, I've bought it! I can't think of anything I've been disappointed in either. I love QVC. I hate mall shopping and I love sitting in my jammies at the computer browsing items at my leisure. :thumbsup2

Forgot to add that I also got to talk to Anna Griffin on air. Anna is a very successful stationary/paper/card/gift designer for those who aren't familiar with her.

Hey, Teresa, we could be in a QVC clique! I forgot I also have almost all of my scrapbooking stuff from QVC. I love their Creative Memories kits. Excellent quality.

I don't think I'm as big a QVC addict as some people (Brenda!) around here. But I've bought a wide variety of merchandise from them and HSN over the years.

I've gotten all of my Birki's from QVC. Also bought some luggage for my son. I got my FIL the neatest Father's Day gift from QVC last year. It's a garden statute of a cherub holding a globe. The globe is solar lighted and when it comes on at night, it slowly changes colors. This thing is the bomb! Reminds me of Cinderella's Castle.

I want the "Demonique" (very funny!) Mickey stud earrings. I need a new crockpot first. Of course, mine broke a few days AFTER they had a Today's Special Value on a great sounding one.

For Christmas, DH gave me some money and told me to buy something pretty for myself. I got a freshwater pearl necklace that was a Today's Special on HSN. It's 36 inches long with a gold clasp. Pearls are 9-10mm and it cost around $100.

Let me tell you--this is the most beautiful necklace. The pearls are imperfect, but in a very pretty way. They're almost irridescent. My BF told me she couldn't believe they are real because they are too big and beautiful. I'd recommend them.

One thing to watch is those Easy Payments. They can really suck you in.

I forgot to mention the most addicting purchase of all--

Huggable Hangers by Joy Mangano from HSN.

I LOVE these things! I'd buy hundreds of them if I could.

Has anyone purchased the Tacori jewelry or the "Simply, Chloe Dao" clothing? I've seen several things that have caught my eye, but so far, I've been afraid that I would be disappointed.

Lord, please don't let my Dh see this thread :sad2:

Let's see...

More jewelery than I'll EVER wear the rest of my life (I admit it, I've had my soul sucked out by Demonique) :sad2:
A couple Quacker Factory sweaters but thank heavens I finally looked in a mirror :scared1:
A bunch of kitchen gadgets I never used
A bunch of crafting stuff I never used
A bunch of bed linens I actually like
A bunch of makeup and skin care from a line I really like but found a better one.

There's a reason Dh doesn't open the credit card statements :rolleyes1

You should own stock! :sad2:

They have those at Target! :thumbsup2

JJ, :rotfl: so I should be "Queen of QVC" instead of "Queen of Clutter"?

*sigh* I forgot I also have lugguage from there. Years ago I bought several different types of Freedom Bags ( a rolling duffle that is the bomb),
a toiletry rollup bag that fits full sized bottles for long trips to WDW ;) (I actually keep it packed and ready to go just in case DH every says "surprise, LOL) and another bag by them that I often use as my carry on bag which is super.

Last week I bought a travelon bag for WDW trips (or when I fly esp.). It was a north/south bag in microfiber. I think it will be excellent. That one I bought on deferred payment (July) although I went ahead and sent the check today.

I have not tried huggable hangers but, you know, after reading this, I will.

I bought an ice cream maker for my sister for Christmas, she still uses it.

They have them at Bed, Bath and Beyond. I got the 50 count value pack for $40.

I buy way to much stuff at QVC. Birki's, Quacker Factory, earrings, rings, Laura Geller make-up. One of my favorites are the dimonique hidden Mickey dangles.

Sharon got me into buying this sometime back, I just love it! I am waiting for a Mickey Ring to come in that has been on back order for some time.. very excited to get it! :goodvibes

Oh, I am such a bad influence;) !!! Glad you are enjoying them Kitty:thumbsup2 .

I have also ordered off of either QVC or HSN

Sleep Number bed
Cooks Essentuals cookware
Diamonique jewelry
Roasting pan
Carpet shampooer
Northern Nights feather bed
Oh, the list goes on and on.

I did talk with Toni Brattin on air one time.

My mom is a notorious QVC shopper. So bad that you already know the answer to the question, "Where did you get that?"

My family and I are considering doing an intervention on her soon. Seriously.

pathetic thing is as I am reading I keep saying "OH YEAH I buy those too" So I am guessing it is more and more than I thought. (no jewelry yet though although that disney stuff..........)

Nothing. I know you are surprised.

My mother was addicted to QVC. After she died, we found unopened boxes of crap. Multiples of hanging plant baskets, coats and more. 2 years after she died my dad was still finding things.

I was on maternity leave from Oct. - early January 2006. I couldn't go out so I watched QVC around the clock. I had the UPS man coming at my door several times a week. To this day I LOVE QVC and so glad its part of my basic cable package. Best thing I ever purchased was a Samsonite Umbrella that I've had since Dec. 2006 and that sucker is STRONG. Best umbrella I ever had! I even used it yesterday and its pefect.

I ordered the Saturday Today's Special Value - the pilates machine. I bought one from QVC about 8 years ago and love it so I'm upgrading. I've bought tons of stuff from there - I swear it's just too easy. They have my credit card # stored so I can do it without even talking so Dh doesn't know.:rolleyes1
