What have you bought on QVC?

I ordered the Saturday Today's Special Value - the pilates machine. I bought one from QVC about 8 years ago and love it so I'm upgrading.

ME TOO! It is a Mother's Day/Birthday present from my DH. I am giving my old pilates to my sister. She has been coveting it and cannot afford one. So surprise to her!!!

I do shop on-line quite a bit but have only bought 2 things from QVC . . . the Diamonique mickey necklace and earrings. I really want a Diamonique Mickey ring but they only have it in sterling and all my other stuff is gold. I'm waiting patiently for a ring in gold but I'll probably never see one. The Diamonique is suprisingly pretty though!

From QVC I got a gorgeous ring for Valentines Day (DH bought it for me)
and from HSN I bought an embroidery machine that is awesome.

I swear it's just too easy. They have my credit card # stored so I can do it without even talking so Dh doesn't know.:rolleyes1

:rotfl2: Me too! :happytv:

I always think of the old comic OPUS (the Penguin) where he'd dial up and say something like: "Hello, Ronco? Send me 6 ____s." :rotfl2:

One time I bought an Epiphany Diamonique wedding set. It looks better on TV than it did in real life. I was VERY disappointed.

The only thing I have bought from them is a digital camera when they were doing 4 easy pay for everything on Leap Year. I love the camera.

My sister watches QVC on TV like it is going out of business. I keep telling her she can't buy anything.

I always loved listening to Kathy Levine from years ago. She was great company at night when DH used to be gone all the time. I had a friend meet her last summer! Pretty cool...except my friend didn't even know her! :headache:
Anyone I know?

The company DH works for sells women's accessories on QVC, and not only do I not order from QVC, I don't get any of it "IRL" either. :confused3

I got my Showtime Rotisserie cookbooks on QVC a long time ago, and I may have gotten my elliptical from QVC too. Other than that, I only watch if one of the designers from DH's company has a show and it's at a time when DH is at home and has it on.

Maybe I should be watching more? :)

I hate the shopping channels, but my grandma is addicted. She loves buying the Quacker Factory clothes (designed, I think, for large, older ladies who teach kindergarten) and the crappy jewelry (which she sends me for presents occasionally - no, Gram, I do not want a 2" faux onyx and marcasite ring, please don't waste your money by buying me gifts anymore, sweetie). She buys all kinds of things for herself - gadgets and such - and is always disappointed when they arrive in the mail and don't work as promised.

Has anyone purchased the Tacori jewelry or the "Simply, Chloe Dao" clothing? I've seen several things that have caught my eye, but so far, I've been afraid that I would be disappointed.

I haven't purchased any of the Tacori jewelry, but a friend of mine has a part time job packing jewelry for QVC. She told me that the Tacori line is really beautiful and well made.

Kathy

I don't have enough time to list all the stuff (mostly jewelry) I've bought at QVC.

You should own stock! :sad2:

They have those at Target! :thumbsup2

You should see the list of stuff I didn't tell you about :lmao: Home shopping channels are good company at 3:30 in the morning when you're sick and can't sleep :thumbsup2

They had a Disney jewelery segment not long ago. :rolleyes1 Need I say more? Guess what you're all getting for Christmas :rotfl:

I bought this, it was shipped yesterday.

I've never bought anything on QVC. Based on the amount of stuff he purchased, my mom's late husband was a majority stockholder. I never felt comfortable with the quality of merchandise.

My DMom LOVED QVC! She usually bought jewelry, mostly rings. After she passed away in 1998 and I was settling her estate I had to call all her creditors to get the balances so I could pay them off. QVC was the only creditor that told me they were sorry for my loss and they don't put that burden on the family. They wrote off her balance!

My DH made a total impulse buy from HSN several years ago. It was a Casio electric piano. It's in our basement - covered in dust - and it can be yours, if the price is right, at this year/s garage sale!

What haven't I bought from QVC and they make it oh so easy! Just dial the automated number put in how many I want and voila it's here!
Bareminerals, cooks essentials, jewelry, apples....:) ....

I have been a QVC shopper since 1989..... :lmao:
What haven't I bought?

I LOVE their customer service. Where else can you buy something, use it for 30 days and send it back for a full refund?

I have a ring coming. I'll let you know :thumbsup2

Last item was a mixer.... I LOVE it. Great price too!!

Thanks!

I'll keep my eye out for the next Tacori show and the Mickey jewelry that everyone is talking about. :thumbsup2

I don't do QVC but my MIL sure does! She orders so much she gives the UPS guy a Christmas present and she even buys that on QVC :confused3

I've yet to see anything that has come from there that I would actually purchase if I had seen it in person before buying it. And even my MIL sends back 3/4 of what she orders, it just doesn't make any sense. I think she is just addicted to buying junk.

DH did get me a Wolfgang Puck cookwear set from one of those home shoppign channels a few years ago, of course we don't have our own kitchen yet so I haven't even used it yet :headache:

DH also bought me some earrings that were cute from QVC, they fell apart the second time I wore them.

And what is the deal with that Quacker Factory lady :scared1: Those outfits are just wrong, where are Clinton and Stacey when we need them? And why are all the clothes on QVC sized so oddly? A small on QVC is a large anywhere else

I once tried to make a list of all the stuff I've bought on QVC but it was hopeless...
I guess my favorite purchase is my Cook's Essentials pan set. No, wait, my Honora pearl ankle bracelet. But I couldn't live without my collapsible ice chests, Knorks & portable crock pot!

I love QVC and HSN too!! :lovestruc :lovestruc
