What has been your most magical Disney experience?

Mine was last August. Disney sure knows how to make me feel like a prince. I got to Grand Floridan, which I paid for garden view standard. I got there and someone was waiting and they dropped us off to sugarloaf club level. I said, "ummm?" "They said nope, you've been upgraded. Club level" I cried. Then we had the last ADR that night for BOG and the waiter said the bottle of wine was on him for my birthday. He made sure we weren't driving, I said no we take the monorail back.

The next morning at Kona a family secretly bought me breakfast. They left and said "happy birthday" and I said "thanks." The waiter took my card, 5 mins later came back and said the family across from you took care of your bill. I cried on the monorail on the way to Magic Kingdom rope drop. Other things happened that day: free ice cream, free drinks and cupcakes galore at every single ADR. That night we went to Cali Grill after Cirque and got a window seat for Wishes!

I never forget this trip. Every trip gets magical and magical!

We were once up against a rope at Hollywood Studios waiting for rope drop, so we could go ride TSM. There was an older castmember standing there, who was looking for little kids. We had teenagers, but we pointed out two tiny girls in strollers, behind us in the crowd, and offered to pass stickers back to them. There were no other kids near us, though he was looking for them. Then we started chatting with him, and it turned out his father had lived and worked in Canada for a time. We had fun comparing places we knew. All of a sudden, he excused himself. When he came back, he was with a supervisor. She told us we were the Family of the Day!

They escorted us to TSM and we got to check out the queue and be the first people to ride. And we got a commemorative certificate.

What a nice surprise!

On our last trip we were chosen as family of the day in EPCOT......TWICE!!!!

There are so many magical experiences, it's hard to pick just one. There are if and small, but they all feel great to me and my family.

One of my favorites was taking the water taxi from MK across the lagoon to the Poly (for Ohana). Our captain, Bruce, who happened to hail from a town in Michigan not too far from our own, was amazing. Not only was he friendly and joyful, but on the way to the Grand Floridian he sang, "There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow." He had an amazing voice. It sounded absolutely fantastic and gave me chills. Then, on the way to the Poly, broke into, "Zip-a-Dee-do-DAH," and it was equally wonderful. There was a sun dog over the Contemporary on the way, the night was beautiful...it was as close to perfect as possible. I will never forget Bruce.

I have quite a few, and most of them are small, but they mean a lot to me. Though Disney has its flaws and recently has been somewhat aggravating with their many attempts and raising prices and charging for new events, it is these things that keep me coming back, because the kind of magic I feel at the parks can't be replicated anywhere else.

It was a super rainy day and Hollywood Studios and my dad and I had finished up dinner at Sci-Fi. Us being big Star Wars fans, we decided to ride Star Tours one last time before heading out of the park. The queue was virtually empty and we were able to walk right up to the loading dock. We had a really nice chat with the CM there, Gretchen. Chance would have it, my Dad and I got a Speeder all to ourselves! I was chosen as the Rebel Spy and the sequence of scenes we got were all completely new to us, despite this being our third time riding it. It was really a magical moment for us and one we won't forget.

We also has wonderful character meets with Gaston and Buzz Lightyear while on that trip, two meets that can't ever be replicated and will always be remembered by us.

Kevin1986- that sounds incredible! When I was a waitress (not at WDW) I loved it when people payed for other people's dinner out of kindness! I would get them a dessert on the house as a thank you. Plus, I'm sure the club level suite was amazing

One of the things I remember best from our last trip was when Splash Mountain was practically deserted, so the CMs let us ride four times in a row (we were humming zippady-doo-da all day!). Also, we met the most wonderful Cinderella. We aren't too big on face characters (sometimes it seems weird since we are older) so we were mostly interested in getting a quick picture. But she resembled the cartoon so much and was so personable and interactive, and she asked us about our dogs and cats at home and asked if they would like Bruno and Lucifer

Most Magical Experience?? Well....I gotta few to add -
1) Asking, "Why is there an ascending staircase that leads to the roof at Walt's apartment?," and getting a reply from Robert Igor and Tony Baxter.
2) Conversing with animators at the Disney Studios Cafeteria (I was waiting in line to pick up my food order) and the ABD Tour Guide was spellbound (I saw her outta the corner of my eye) that I held my own when talking with them (yes, I was in WWAAYYY over my head but it was sooo dang fun listening to them talk about their work in the movie Disney was working on at the time).
3) Understanding how Ollie Johnstons' train depot got moved into the Carolwood Pacific RR Society's area via email from a contact there.

and of course, can't ferget running a Muppet at Muppet studios
(it's like doing the weather on tv....aka "everything's backwards" in your movements....right is left....up is down and so on.

and the bext one is I now finally "get it"
via taking the tours last year at Disneyland....from the "Seeds" tour to the "Calif Story" tour to the 'WIWF' Tour......it all brings it home.


I am such a "Commando Traveler" and a planner.....and to see from the way the Animators make the look of the buildings, to the trees and to the shrubs, etc....all the way down to the music you hear while walking inside the Park....I didn't realize that ALL of this has taken a lot of planning and forethought.
I used to be a "Rope Dropper" who FP all the time and didn't see ANY of this....until September 2015 while out at DISneyland Anaheim, Ca.

In another words, it is such a marvel now to see "The Big Picture" in all what Walt & Friends have done to bring to all of us that love all things Disney. IMHO, that's truely a magical feeling when you finally "get it."

It is a small one, but we were on the Magical Express heading from the airport to the Resort, and we got our "room text" since we had done online checkin - we got a 50's prefered room - room #1313!! I LOVE Tower of Terror so making it that we were there over Halloween made it even better.

Nothing that anyone in particular did, but we've been mentioning this lately with our next trip coming up...

On our last trip (2 year old twins first trip)...DD & DS were both scared of the characters when we first arrived. The first they met at Belle at ETWB and they were both too scared to even go up to get their pic at the end. Later on that same day we were in Epcot and had just ridden the Donald Duck ride in Mexico and saw Donald at his M&G outside just after wards. We went and waited in line even though we weren't sure if the kids would go meet him. When it was our turn DD was too scared and I had to hold her. DS said "Donald not scary" and ran up to him. This moment was the turning point in our trip. DD was still too scared to go up to Donald but after him they both went character crazy and we met every character we saw even ones they'd never seen before.

Just yesterday afternoon the kids (now 5) were playing and I heard them going back and forth saying "Donald not scary". I think it's something we're going to remember forever.

In one trip, many years ago my daughter was picked as chef of the day at Crystal Palace, was able to ride Dumbo with Mickey Mouse, rode the Pooh ride with Eyeore, and got to open up Toon Town with a private tour of Mickey's house by Mickey himself.

Last trip my two boys were asked to walk in the Star Wars Weekend Parade (first one of the beginning of the SWWs and apparently the last year for SWW). they were over the moon excited!

Our first time eating at Monsieur Paul a few years ago. The service was unlike anything we'd ever encountered at a Disney restaurant, and the food was unbelievable. We have eaten at a lot of high end restaurants around the country, but nothing will ever come as close to perfection as that one night at EPCOT for us.

Just last week we had a PPO breakfast at BOG. Direct boats don't depart early enough from WL for this so we had to go to CR and then monorail over. As we ran for the boat that was about to leave, the skipper asked where we were headed. We told him MK so he pulled the boat back in and picked us up. Told us the whole load was going to MK so he was taking everyone directly there even though he wasn't supposed to do it. He said "What they don't know won't hurt 'em." It was a small thing, but so very much appreciated.

It's been a long time since I've been, but my daughter was 4 and we took her to BBB at Downtown Disney (of old). When we got there to get her all Belle'd out for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, they told us they had a special surprise for her. After she was in her dress they put a cape around her shoulders and loudly announced there was a princess in the making and marched her through the store to her own station in the display window. She had her hair and makeup done up right in her own space for everyone passing by to see with her own photographer. So many people were stopping to watch and compliment her. It was such an amazing experience for a proud mommy.

BUT the kicker was at the party. For her first character meet that night she walked right up to Captain Hook and Mr. Smee and executed the most perfect curtsy I had ever seen. That ballgown, that moment - I don't know what they did at the boutique, but that night there was no mistaking it. She was a bona fide princess!

So many little things that mean a lot, that just don't happen in every day life. (Most) People seem so much nicer and happier at Disney. Some particularly nice memories:

My dad and I were chosen to go on stage at Hoop Dee Doo.

Our server at Jiko cut my 5 yr old daughter's steak for her, and brought her an amazing dessert sampler for her birthday, instead of the standard cupcake.

A fellow guest gave my daughter a hand full of trader pins.

Dancing with Mr. Incredible at MK.

A man offering to hold my sleeping daughter for me on the bus back to the BC after late EMH at MK. Our hands were super full with bags and stroller.

Another one! We were staying at the Pop, but we had an ADR for Boma. Our plan was to catch a bus to Animal Kingdom just before the park closed, and then get another bus from AK to the Lodge. We were the only ones at our stop, of course. The bus to AK pulled up and the driver looked at us and said, "You know the park closes at five today, right?" So we explained our plan and he said, "Give me a moment!" He then got on his radio and got permission to drive us directly to the lodge. He said he'd play the part of Cinderella's coach!

It was a wonderful start to a magical evening.

Getting teary at this thread, lol! One thing that stands out to me is on my last trip before becoming a CM, my friends and I were about to get into a 60 minute standby line for Splash Mountain. It's my favorite ride and it was august and 90 degrees, so there was no way I was going to miss it. We hadn't been able to make any FP+ and it was our only day in MK. But we had an ADR coming up and I kept telling my friend that I was worried we wouldn't make it. A couple came up to us and said that they had a 5 person paper FP; would we like to be the other 3? We were overjoyed!

When I was a CM I got to repay this favor! I had a few paper fastpasses that I had gotten from a friend in GR to make my family's trip to visit me more special. I have two siblings and we had about 4 paper FP that we used to ride Space Mountain four times in a row. Each time, we picked out a group of 2 and took them along with us
