February at the parks? Anything special?
How is the weather during this month?
How is the crowds? Is it crazy busy?

We like this time of the year. Great weather, low crowds, Feb is a perfect time to head to the parks.

Being from the Pacific NW, the weather is a nice change. We'll pack shorts and enjoy the sunshine.

I'd avoid President's Day weekend, if you're not into crowds.

I generally like going in February. As Geemo noted, Presidents' Day (2/16) weekend tends to be on the busier side, so avoid that one is possible. If DLR does it again, both Mardi Gras (2/17) and Lunar New Year (2/19) will occur in February. That might mean there are some special activities (not always and not always announced ahead of time). Next year might be a little wonky in terms of refurbs and things like that because the 60th anniversary celebration is supposed to start in the Spring (the first day of Spring is March 20th), so they could be doing last minute stuff in February (they have not announced a specific start date).

In terms of the weather, I think it's generally nice, but be prepared for rain. HydroGuy has a thread with Detailed Weather Data.

I went last February and it was beautiful. mid to high 70's and sunny. I think that's a little warmer than usual for that time of year, but last year was great.

Crowds while I was there (avoiding president's day weekend) were very light. There were a number of refurbishments, though, and as previously noted with the 60th coming up it may be even more than usual this year. Just don't be disappointed if some stuff is closed.

Beware....President's Day weekend has now become President's WEEK....with both weekends before and after....very, very crowded. This year Dapper Day was the Sunday AFTER President's Day weekend and it was crazy, insanely crowded!!!
