What happens if a ride doesn’t comeback online?

We’re here now and Guardians has been down all day. We were suppose to be boarding group 50 this morning. What happens if it doesn’t come back online or so late that we can’t do it? Do they honor it somehow? TIA!

There is a disclaimer right there on the BG confirmation page...

"Capacity is limited. A boarding group does not guarantee the ability to experience Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind."

And also in their theme park fine print of conditions they don't have to provide anything if an attraction is not available.

Yup, it stinks but it happens and they really don't have the capacity to do anything about it.

If you bought an ILL$, they would have allowed you to return once the ride came back up. If it never came back up while you were in the park you could ask for a refund.

If you made a reservation with G+ and a ride is down when your return time opens up, you are automatically issued a multi-experience pass plus you can immediately book a new G+ reservation.

But in the case if boarding groups, you're at the mercy if their capacity limits. Since they will honor any ILL$ first before calling BGs, they may not ever get around to calling your BG. There is no guest recovery measures in place for BGs because Disney explicitly states that a BG carries no guarantees.

As noted, only LL$ will get their money back. As this is a free Virtual queue ride, you get nothing if you don't get to ride it. However, at least you didn't waste all day in line.
Agree, that IF it comes back online, they will fill with the LL$ before any/few virtual queue guests get on.
