What happens at MVMCP?

I've read about people going to Mickey's Christmas party but don't really know what takes place. I have noticed that it is the week before Christmas week, though. What makes this celebration so special?

Sadly, we will probably never be able to go as vacation doesn't start here til the 18th of December but, enlighten me anyway !

The park closes to all but MVMCP guests and the admission is limited.

There are special Xmas shows, the xmas parade and a special fireworks display. They serve free cookies and hot chocolate, have free xmas party buttons and you get a free family picture.

The characters and CM's are dressed in xmas attire, almost all rides are open and have fairly short lines.

It snows on Main St.

We planned this years trip for early Dec to go to the party. It's a great time.

I think that the last party date this year is the 17th, so it looks like you will miss it. Too Bad!

The MVMCP usually takes places on certain nights through out the month of December. (We like to go the week AFTER Thanksgiving!) There's snow down Main Street, characters out dressed in the Christmas outfits, and most of the rides are open (kind of like e-ride nights!)

We've been three times already, and we're planning our fourth! Its a really fun night! Lots of great photos, and they also have cookies and hot chocolate available!!

I've always wanted to go to Disney right after Thanksgiving. But there was a reorganization at my job and now that is the busiest time of the year for me--no vacations allowed! Oh well.
