What happened....

So we ordered our magicbands and we wanted red, yellow, grey, and orange (and their matching luggage tags). We got our correct color bands then for the luggage tags it is almost like a defect pile got sent to us. I received 3 grey tags and a Donald (supposed to be a blue band&background) with an orange background.. I am not sure what happened. Has this happened to anyone else? I am still excited to go and all that, but this just threw me off guard. We have been trying to collect the different color bands and tags.

Another thread posted about this too and sounds like they’re re-doing the designs and maybe trying to get rid of leftover colors, mostly being grey that they have a lot of. Most people are getting the majority of grey sent to them. Some people sound like they aren’t getting any tags. So I’d say no worries, you’re going on your trip soon! Have fun!

I have no clue. Not that big of a deal to us really, just wanted to see if it has been happening to others. Just curious, felt like the Donald one we received is pretty fun considering he should have a blue background.

Of all the things to worry about pre-trip, free luggage tag colors seems like a pretty inane thing to complain about.

I don't believe there is a promise of what your luggage tag will be so-none.

They are free. If you don't like the ones they sent you, go buy your own luggage tags I suppose.

That’s what we had. I tore the box apart looking for them. Around the same time ours arrived, I saw on some FB pages that others didn’t get them either. It’s okay, I had some from previous trips. I honestly thought they were phasing them out.

The tags are supposed to match the bands??? This has never happened with my party of 7 and I had not idea it was a thing.

Yes, the same thing happened to us. We got our MB's last week - one yellow, one blue - and got a grey and an orange luggage tag. I was kind of excited about the orange one as we've never gotten that one before. They are all so cute, I really don't care what color we get, just happy to get them!

Thanks for the response. I apparently have a reading comprehension problem. I thought it was the MAGIC BANDS that did not come in the right color. I could care less about the luggage tags.

Well, I am not complaining I was just wondering if this was happening to others. But alas someone will always find something to complain about...
