What happened to those "Around the World" posts?

I'm not sure if that's what you guys called them, but remember the trend going for a while where people would pass around a stuffed animal and take pictures in people's home towns? At least I think that was what it was about; I only vaguely remember.

I don't remember ever seeing the photos, just the threads talking about where the characters would be going next. Are those photos still around here somewhere?

Don't recall photos of them, but do recall the traveling Mickey and maybe one of two others.

I sent off a Piglet and Eeyore long ago.
They made it to a couple of places and I haven't heard anymore about their whereabouts

I believe there was also a Mickey, Stitch and Pooh that were traveling. I wonder where they all are?
