What happened to the 10% off DVC member perk?

We went to the Disney store tonight and purchased some stuff. I was shocked when I handed over my DVC member card to get my 10% off and the women said we don't do that anymore. When did this happen? Has anyone else had this problem?
I had no problem getting 10% off the other day shopping on line at Disneystore.com

The Disney Store is now owned by the The Children's Place.

Yes, unfortunately, several months ago when the Disney Stores were sold to the Children's Place, they took away this discount/benefit for DVC members.
