Yes, go check out the Premium Outlets! You'll only be another 10 minutes away from the Studios, and they're VERY nice!

Actually, there is only one Disney outlet in the OPO; it's just listed twice.

The store is Disney's Character Premier, store number 1252.

Click the link in my signature; I have maps and directions to this store on my outlets page.

Okay, we went by there today.

Mall II is completely gutted out. Nothing left but the steel structure of the building. We aren't sure if they're remodeling it or what, but DEFINETLY nothing going on in that mall.

Mall I has only two entrances open, and very minimal stores left open in it (did not see the Disney one). When we went by, only a handful of cars were in the lot, and I suspect they're mainly employees.

I spoke to a friend fo mine today who is also a local, and she said that as late as last week the Disney outlet in Mall 1 is still open and doing a brisk business. According to the CM she spoke with at the store last week, the plan is for that store to remain open through the remodel and then move into the new building that's going to be built where Mall 2 was.

Knowing how WDW management works, of course, this plan could change if the store's revenue drops too low to warrant keeping it open through the remodel.

We were at the Belz/Prime one a week ago today. Yes one building is down, but the other one is still up, and open. Go to section 3 for parking, enter those doors, the store will be on your left as you walk straight. They had TONS of stuff, we spent a small fortune! We got a bunch of t-shirts for 50% off, they had pins, Mickey Jackets, Cinderella playset castle that was originally 70.00 for 35.00, playsets space ship earth and Mickey's hat for the monorail set were 19.99 instead of 40.00. They had tink, mickey, snow white purses, pooh luggage (still thought this was too expensive at just 50% off), stuffed toys, some car toys, buzz mattel toys for 50% off. Tons of stuff. We had them ship everything home, if you spend over 100.00 shipping is a flat rate of 15.95 (I actually saved money since I wasn't charged tax).

We stopped going to the LBV outlets because we never found anything good there, but Belz/Prime has never disappointed me!

Happy Shopping!!!

Yes, the LBV store is much more of a crap-shoot than the others, because it is the only one that's not owned by Disney.

However, when they do have good stuff there, it's usually discounted much more than at the Disney-owned outlets. All of the very best bargains on sweatshirts and golf shirts that I have ever found have been at the LBV store. But I've also gone in ther plenty of times and found nothing but junk.

My DS has the best luck there with shirts. We were there in July and he found an All Star resort shirt he liked for, I believe, $8.xx. I found a nice men's thermal shirt w/Mickey on it in either XXL or XXXL that I am going to use as a night shirt this winter. That was either $12 or $13. I also found some ZIG marker sets for scrapbooking that were $6.99/set. These retail for $24.99 in my area at Joann's or Michael's, so even if I used a 50% off coupon, I still came out way ahead by purchasing them there.

But I do agree this store is hit or miss. They do seem to have alot of junk and there have been times I've walked out empty handed. We always stop there on the way back from our Wal-Mart run because, well, you just never know.
