I have a few:

DH- usually we stick to a pretty reasonable limit. Money is a bit tight this year and I couldnt' decide what to get him. Christmas is about wants for me (how I grew up) and the only thing he has really wanted the last few years is a PS3. I decided to get him one since he never really gets any "toys" for himself. More than I wanted to spend, but I know he will love it.

DS3- before our WDW trip last week, he was all done. All he kept saying he wanted was a mickey mouse watch and race track. Down in Disney he absolutely fell in love with the monorail playset. All he talked about all week. WE had to avoid stores with it because he wanted it so badly. Told Santa at DTD all he wanted was monorails, monorails and more monorails. Every person who asks him how Disney World was he tells them about the monorail. So with the 20% off coupon and my Disney Visa rewards I got it for him as his Santa gift along with the race track and watch. Still debating if I am going to take back some of the other stuff we got him or hold it for his birthday in March.

DN12- We took her sister to Disney with us this year, so I felt kind of bad for her even though we took her to Disney a few years ago. Decided to get her a Coach wristlet. Her mom says she will absolutely freak out because she wants a Coach bag but her dad said absolutely no way was he spending that much for a purse. Hoping to maintain the "cool Aunt" status.

I already got my presents early due to sales/needs (kitchen aid mixer from DH and netbook from parents) so I am really looking forward to seeing the reactions from others this year!!!!

I'm excited to give dh his present from me because its unexpected and I know he will love it.
To tell you the truth I'm always excited to give everyone their gifts :)

Two actually:

We got my husband an iPod Touch. The man can fix anything, tinker with anything, but is *lost* with anything iPod / computer. So, I felt he -needed- it, KWIM?

So my step son and I sat there forever trying to figure out what to engrave it with. It was like some huge decision and we couldn't think of anything. So, in jest he typed in "Learn how to use this" - and I said "I like it!!!". So, that's what it says "Learn how to use this" :rotfl:

And my 14 y/o REALLY wanted an XBox 360 with Call of Duty. His brother had one, but moved to Florida - taking the XBox with. My husband and I have REALLY played it off, how it's been a tough year for money, and it's just not gonna happen this year - but it did happen. And is wrapped in a odd shaped, round hat box - that won't even come out until XMas Eve. :lmao:

Giving my mom her gift of a total reorganization of the house. She's going to die!

Also, giving my dbf a brian mccann framed autographed picture. He may just literally burst into tears! We will exchange together on the 20th....

Can't wait!!!

Probably for me it would be ds8 and dd6 are getting nintendo ds's, they are gonna poop their pants when they open those. It will take a surgical removal to get it out of ds hands xmas day:lmao:

I am VERY excited cause dd2 loves Mickey SOOOOO MUCH! Pretty much all her stuff is Mickey mouse clubhouse bedding/decals for her walls and toys.:goodvibes Love when they are so young and so excited about something. Kinda lose that as they get older here.

dd13 will be flipping over her Ipod shuffle I think!

dd9 will be very excited over her rollerblades Im sure!

I know there will be excitement over ds games, always is!

Dh will be excited over the new trail camera he's getting (his other one that was a fathers day gift, was stolen off our property about a month ago:mad: )

We're giving my 2 DSDs and 1 DSGD a 4 night DCL trip. Considering what we bought them last year, it's really not much more expense wise. We're driving down anyway so there is no extra transporation costs. And I get to pay it off for the next 9 months and not all at once. So while they might think it's all paid for, I know we will pay about $100/month until it's covered. :thumbsup2

I know the 30 yo will freak out because she will understand the expense and everything involved, plus it's her DD that is also getting treated (6 yo). Not sure the 19 yo will truly appreciate it but we'll go with it and hope she's just as psyched as the 6 yo. And I know the 6 yo will completely freak out!

DH - an iPod Nano. He loves mine and I think he will love his own, too.

DD10 - Ugg boots. She wants them so badly but I have told her over and over again that I will not spend that kind of money on shoes she will grow out of. I got a great deal and she will be very surprised. I also got her cowgirl boots.

DD9 - There isn't much that she will be over the moon for, although I think she will be happy with the new tv and dvd player we bought for their playroom. She didn't give me many ideas on what she wanted.

I made photo calendars of the grandkids for my parents. They are divorced and remarried so their calendars are different. They have the gkids for them and their spouse.

DH- I have 2 tickets for him to go to the Sunday play of the Quail Hollow Golf Championship in Charlotte this spring

DD- she asked for a season of Friends on DVD. We got her the whole series. I can't wait to see her open it.

My dad died in a military accident when my brother was just 2 weeks old. He's always been very interested in finding connections to my dad, but hasn't found many. Earlier this week I managed to make contact with a man who served with my dad. He is sending me pictures and stories.

Then, last night, I found a rare edition book that is 488 pages long. There are 2 paragraphs in this huge book that mention the details of my dad's death. The book sells for $150 if you can find a copy. I got on ebay and they had only one and the auction lasted for only 20 more minutes. I got it for $35!!!! Perfect timing! I am going to put a bookmark on the page about my dad and tell my brother to start reading there.

I can't wait to put the book, pictures, and stories together for him. I also found a message from the co-pilot that day that gives even more details. I don't know if I'll have everything together by Christmas, but I'm going to do as much as possible.

I finally got around to loading our Disney vow renewal professional portraits to a really wonderful photo processing website. There are wonderful photos of our friends/family with Mickey dressed in formal wear and we got nice 5x7s or 8x10s for my in-laws and my 2 dear friends and my brother & his wife (DSIL). They will LOVE them!

My daughters - who are 21 and 16 - are each getting a plane ticket in their stockings. They have no idea and they will be thrilled. I am letting them plan and go on a sisters-only weekend in NYC this summer - or other place of their choice, but I bet it will be New York.

I'm only doing it because I got bumped from a flight last week and got two vouchers for free airline tickets. I'll spring for the hotel and show tickets and they have plenty of time to earn enough babysitting money for a shopping spree.

I can't wait to see their faces....

Mom--Pandora necklace and charms. We never spend that much and she will be sooo surprised! Can't wait to give it to her:goodvibes

This is very cool and brought tears to my eyes. You are a good sister.

Omgosh, your post gave me goosebumps. What a great, meaningful gift! For you too. Make sure you have the kleenex:hug:

Please give an update after xmas, I would love to hear his reaction!

This just made me cry. I'm sure your brother is going to love it and treasure it.

As for me, I'm excited to give my husband the Keurig coffee maker he has been wanting. We have a Tassimo, which he hates, so I have told him no Keurig since we already have a one cup system. He's going to be so surprised. As for the Tassimo, I'll give it to my parents (but not as a Christmas gift).

We have an eight month old foster daughter we got from the hospital. She will be moving on soon to her adoptive home. Our hearts are breaking. I took a picture of the baby and my 20 yo DD on Thanksgiving day, and it came out beautiful. We got a 4x6 print made and I found this frame that says 'Sisters Always - Always Sisters' written around the outside. It is so special because my older daughter (who is studying sign language) always signs 'sister' to the baby to teach her. I just cant wait for her to open it.

I think my kids are going to be most excited over the tickets to different places/experiences (zoo, museum, science center, Banff hot springs, movie tickets etc) as they have lots of stuff and really would rather make memories as a family.......makes me sad that they are growing up (9,11 and 15) but grateful that they realize toys break and they outgrow them so would rather do something.....

My Grandma is almost 90 and is starting to have memory loss and just recently moved to the same province as us, but she does not want or need for much so i sat down and wrote her a love letter, letting her know all she has meant to me over the years, all my memories of summers at her and grandpas place, what examples she set for me that i try to achieve in my daily life etc. Hoping it brings a smile to her face as she has been widowed for almost 30 years and i only ever got to see here during the summers up until a couple of months ago.....

WOW! I'd love to see his reaction to your gift, talk about thoughtful! :lovestruc

Between pay cuts and DD's Heritage Tour coming up, we've been scraping, and already told DD that Christmas would be lean this year, which she's fine with. But last week I found on EBay the one thing she wanted more than anything, an acoustic guitar (which she wants to learn how to play) and got it for only $37 and free shipping. So I can't WAIT to see how excited she'll be when she sees it, she doesn't expect anything like it! :cloud9:

I got Coach bags for DD (18) and my foster twins (also 18). I can't wait to see the look on their faces as I know they don't expect them.
