What gets on your nerves?

That horrible plastic that so many products come encased in anymore--the kind that you can barely cut with scissors, is very hard to pull apart, and has sharp edges when cut. I hate that stuff!

On a related note, I detest all the twisted wire they use on toy packaging to adhere the toy to the cardboard. It shouldn't take 15 minutes to open a simple toy!

I forgot about those, but you are so right! I can't stand them either. DH and I can't stand having to use scissors to open the plastic and it's like playing tug-o-war trying to get it apart!

It's a pain to get a toy out of those stupid wire twists for our DS4. And sometimes they break off and get stuck in the toy :furious:

Who ever thought of those stupid ideas :confused3

Coworkers who call in sick because they have to "babysit" their kid!!!!! You had 9 mths. to prepare....that's when you should have planned ahead and figured out who was going to care for your child while your girlfriend goes to school and you go to work!!

Sounds like you have posted on the other thread about parents "babysitting" their kids :rotfl:

People who slip my "adult film" stage name inappropriately into a DIS thread and try to pretend it wasn't intentional. There's a reason I keep that part of my life private!

Bahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!

Trying to come up with a good story about HOW stupid Santa Claus can be in a million different malls!!!!!!!!!!

Could have then offered him a cash discount of something less than your visa %. win-win.

Aounf here that is a violation of the Merchant Agreement the store signs when they agree to accept credit cards. They are not allowed to offer discounts for cash sales or charge a premium on credit card payments.

What gets on my nerves..........pretty much everything. :sad2: :teeth:

people who don't use blinkers!!! drives me CRAZY!!!

and also i mentioned this on another thread, but the people who go into the grocery stores with their hair done, tons of gold jewlery, nails done, and fur coats.....and then they pay with food stamps. i don't get it! :confused3

I cannot stand threads that turn into rolling chat rooms.... :furious:

They start with a simple question then suddenly it becomes a skit from Friends with the same people over and over and over....

I've just learned to back out of the thread.

Oh yeah,I totally agree! Boy I'm not perfect but I could certainly give alot of people lessons in a lot of different areas.
Examples: Eating etiquette,coughing/sneezing dept.,making a mess and not cleaning up after themselves, taking things out and not putting them away, using up to the last peice of toilet paper or paper towels and not replacing them.....Well you guys get the picture.

Just one more thing that bugs me: Neighbors that never close their curtains.
I just opened my door and realized I forgot to put it on my list...

The paper towel thing gets me at work. How hard is it to put on a new roll? And why bother putting a new roll still in the wrapper below the empty rack? Are you so busy you can't take 10 seconds to unwrap it and put it up?

Its a good thing the refrigerator has an ice machine because these are the same people who don't seem to know that ice doesn't magically appear in ice cube trays.

Another reason why I brew my own coffee rather than counting on people who finish it here to make a new pot...

People who stand on top of you in the grocery store when you're trying to make your credit/debit card transaction on the little pin-pad machine. Mister, we all realize that it's your turn next, but in the meantime, BACK OFF!!!!

At this moment, the thing that is getting on my nerves is the guy behind me slamming some junk electronic equipment into the trash...

This is one my pet peeves in my office. Each stall in the bathroom has SIX new rolls of TP sitting there. What, you can't take 2 seconds to unwrap a new one, pop off the old roll and put a new one on?
