What gets on your nerves?

This is one my pet peeves in my office. Each stall in the bathroom has SIX new rolls of TP sitting there. What, you can't take 2 seconds to unwrap a new one, pop off the old roll and put a new one on?

Seems like this is a very common office gripe. I've fussed about the TP around here a lot this week. People use it all up and can't walk down to the other end of the hall to replace the stash we usually keep in the bathroom. How hard is it to walk down a hall and grab a few rolls of TP? It's not like it is heavy or something!

The main thing about it that ticked me off this week is that because of my allergies I can't use the kind they use here so I keep my own TP hidden in a cabinet in the bathroom. It is tucked away in the corner and wrapped in a bag. Well the other day someone took the time to find it, take it out of the bag, throw the empty bag back in the cabinet, then place my TP roll on the back of the toilet.

Don't get me wrong here, I don't mind sharing mine BUT I think when you have a ton of it in the storage room and you can actually use that kind then use it!

We have something sort of similar here. There's a cabinet in the ladies room where the majority keep their personal supply of...um, well, we refer to them as "party favours." Each supply has the person's name on it and there is NO sharing, except in dire emergencies and only if you've asked (and of course no one would say no if it was that much of an emergency). Well, there is someone here that routinely uses other people's stuff. One woman will buy a new package and put it in the cabinet, but when she needs it, there are only one or two "favours" left in it!

Party favors? Boy, there's a snapshot of the chasm between men and women. Party favors in your bathroom vs. party favors in a men's bathroom. Not at work, of course, but, you know... :rolleyes1

Oh my God, those nasty *** people who do not flush, throw away their items or clean off the toilet seat. I was always taught to squat never sit, but people,

if u sprinkle when you tinkle,
please be neat
and wipe the seat. :thumbsup2

Oh yeah,I totally agree! Boy I'm not perfect but I could certainly give alot of people lessons in a lot of different areas.
Examples: Eating etiquette,coughing/sneezing dept.,making a mess and not cleaning up after themselves, taking things out and not putting them away, using up to the last peice of toilet paper or paper towels and not replacing them.....Well you guys get the picture.
Debbie

I know,I know, people say 'don't sweat the small stuff' but I'll tell ya it's the 'small stuff' that can just drive you right up a wall.If people could just get their heads out of their assses and think...mmm....would I like it if they left it like this for me??

People who open their car doors into the side of my vehicle:furious::furious:
and dent it or scrape the paint evoke my fury. Or how about hit and run! (happened twice this year!)

When you say “Hey, how’s it goin’” and you get to hear about how horrible their life is, how their medical conditions are flaring up or they can’t figure out the math behind cell phone towers as a mapping device for the Department of Defense. [Note: This phrase is a statement, not a question that requires any answer longer than, okay or great, or not so good, if I care I’ll ask more, otherwise, I don’t want know!]

Then when they are done with their life story, they fail to ask you how you are. Or when they do ask they don’t hear a word you’re saying. Conversation from the other day:

Me: “Wednesday is going to be a hard day.”
Him: “Traveling?”
Me: “No, singing at a memorial service.”
Him: “Well that will be fun. Did I tell you about my new project that, worst case scenario I’ll get a multi-million dollar contract with the blah, blah, blah ........”
Me: [“Are you even human, go away!”]

Everyone has problems, yours may seem bigger to you, but my problems are sill MY problems!

Oh yeah, and intellectual bullies. So what, you know lots of big words, you aren’t making any sense and you really don’t know everything. Don’t degrade me because I use one syllable words to express myself, at least I know what I’m talking about!

Wow, that felt good. :)

I forgot about those, but you are so right! I can't stand them either. DH and I can't stand having to use scissors to open the plastic and it's like playing tug-o-war trying to get it apart!

It's a pain to get a toy out of those stupid wire twists for our DS4. And sometimes they break off and get stuck in the toy :furious:

Who ever thought of those stupid ideas :confused3

YES!!! Every Barbie doll I have ever come into contact with has still had those sharp plastic bits sticking out of her head. Why??!?!? :confused3

What gets on my nerves you ask??? Rude People!!..Why do people have to be mean....I try to always be polite or as polite as i can...but when people are just out right rude it really gets to me.. :confused3

Taking care of a patient last night that broke my heart. The setup: 80 year old lady in a room with a 22 year old lady. The 80 year old was misirable when I walked in the room. Why? 22 year old was sitting in bed eating Popeyes, talking on cell phone, and screaming at 2 of her young children to "Shut Up"! 22 year olds BF was also there talking on Hospital phone at bedside. He had his MP3 player out and you could hear the music!! All of this in a Hospital room. The 80 year old asked me if she could be moved. No, since Hurricane Katrina your lucky to get a room. I went to 22 year olds RN and asked why was she in Hospital? Looked healthy to me. RN said for a stomach ache!!! The Supervisor was called and 22 year old was told to keep the noise down and her children would have to go. She got mad at Supervisor and said she had rights and wanted to see her kids. Supervisor held on to her temper and explained that she was in a Hospital and had to keep the noise down. 22 year old said she didnt want to be there anyway and the Supervisor said please leave then. Well she didnt but made all the Hospital staff suffer for it. And worse she kept a 80 year old up all night with her attitude. We were all very pissed but there was nothing we could do. So nice to see a 22 year old on Medicade hurting a 80 year old on Medicare. What ever happened to manners and feelings and respect for the elderly?

ITA! I'm the same way.No matter how nice and polite I am to people there is always one person I run into during the day that has to be mean and rude for no reason.
I really can't help but feel sorry for them. Can't imagine what there lives are like behind closed doors.
