I have another thread going about receiving a wonderful day including a helicopter ride for going to a sales promotion for lake property. That has probably been the best thing we have received for listening to a sales pitch.

We used to do these things a long time ago, and all I can remember is receiving a $25 gift certificate to Olive Garden for enduring a 2 hour time share promo. Never again for a time share..

Do any of you go to these type of give-aways to listen to sales pitches? Do you go just to get the free stuff?? Any good experiences?

We've gotten a $75 gift card for taking a test drive. We've had a couple of those.

We attended a 45 minute Marriott timeshare presentation, and were given four Sea World tickets. Plus we got the room at a terrific rate. It was such a good deal that I felt a little guilty we didn't buy anything.

$250 Disney Dollars for listening to a timeshare pitch -- many years ago. Both DW and I agreed we'd never go through that experience again -- unless they DOUBLED the offer! ;)

My time is way too valuable to sit throught a sales pitch to get something for free.

We got about $450 worth of passes and room discounts for an hour of my time. My time's valuable, but not that valuable.

Swiss Army Watch for test driving Nissan Pathfinder

25.00 gift card for test drive

Im trying to get my name on the mailing list for a resort near here. They are giving away Calloway Golf Clubs for viewing time share. Those clubs are 699.00 My good friend got them by doing the same thing.

Well its wasnt a timeshare pitch but I actually did liesten to telemarketer for way longer than I usually do and agreed to try their product. It was AT&T long distance and they were offering a $25 giftcard for trying them. I dont make any LD phone calls on my home phone so I figured it couldnt hurt.
Im not sure I would sit through a timeshare presentation though.
