Hi everyone

I was just wondering what food you all had at your dessert party. Pictures and reviews would be really helpful.

Did anybody have anything other than desserts (savoury .etc.)? This is another option for us, but I'm not sure what is available.

Many thanks for your help

Victoria

Our Rehearsal Dinner was our Dessert Party, so we had real food then sweets.

We had a Fajita Station, Make your own Pasta Station (which was huge), carving station with Ham & Roast Beef Sandwiches, and an anti-pasta station (we just had more salad type stuff). Then we did an ice cream sundae bar for our dessert

We had cookies, mickey rice crispie cakes, brownie's and coffee's with loads of syrups. All the food was amazing but I was so full from the dinner that I only had a coffee!

We had chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, Florida lemon bars, chocolate peanut butter marshmallow squares, brownies, rice crispy squares, and I think oatmeal cookies. Plus coffee, tea, and milk. And ice water. And maybe punch?

We don't have pictures back yet, but I just wanted to let you know how amazing Epcot was with providing us with whatever we wanted. None of the pre-made menus were what we wanted, so our planner had us put together a "dream menu". I was expecting them to veto some items, but Epcot did everything we asked for! So, I'm sure you could ask for quite a variety of items, whether it be dessert choices, non-dessert choices or both!

FYI, we had:

- fruit display (pineapple, mango, papaya and berries) with yogurt dipping sauce
- chocolate and peanut butter marshmallow squares
- Italian profiteroles with chocolate sauce on the side
- chocolate fudge brownies
- variety of cheesecake bites
- miniature raspberry and apple pies
- miniature Napoleons and Mille-feuilles
- coffees and teas

We also supplied a hosted bar, including five kinds of milk! (I didn't know that was possible!) Two of our guests were diabetic, which was listed on our BEO, and they provided packaged sugar-free brownies for these guests, which I thought was a nice touch.

HTH!! :goodvibes

Yum Yum...sorry...I am lurking again...hope I am not intruding too much. Even though I have done several "events", the September dessert party that I will be doing for my girlfriends will be a first for me. I have been watching here for ideas. I like the idea of having fruit added and all the pics look great. I agree...Disney is most accomodating for special events. My event planner is arranging for Tarzan for my Tamu Tamu dinner! My gf's will be happy...I hope.
