We are sailing July 21st. 2002 on the Wonder first 3 days in WDW and then off to the ship of Dreams on the 21 st. I would like to know what Excursions would be recommended say on Castaway Cay and or Nassau? It will be me my wife and my 4yr old daughter (sorry I don't know those symbles for daughter, husband, wife etc :) ) Anyway, never really thought about doing an excursion and I know they book really fast and I don't know of one that would be suitable for my daughter. Me... personally I would like to swim around with sharks ;) my wife likes the idea :D but my daughter says they might bite my cooley :D. Ok Ok so sharks may be a bit to much so if there is anyone who can offer some advice as to which would be good ones and worth the money please send any ideas my way. Then again there's the sting rays  Hey IM from New York what do you expect :) Thanks everyone

and are thinking of going to Blue Lagoon to swim with the stingrays. The stingray swim is not a Disney excursion, but I understand it's walking distance from Blue Lagoon landing.

We have never cruised before, we are very excited. My DS (son) is 4.5 yrs old, he will LOVE swimming with stingrays.

I hate to be negative, but I do not recommend the Glass Bottomed Boat in Nassau. The trip out to our "spot" was pleasant but once we anchored, the colors were washed out and the viewing area cramped.

Not worth the $$ spent.

Hi PiperG,, yea I heard the same thing about the glass bottom boats. Not worth it. I would like to book an excursion but I really dont know which would be a good one.

Where is the stingray swim at? How can I call and get ressies/prices on this? Sounds neat. Anyone know?:bounce:

Maybe your daughter would like to be kissed by a dolpin! I just did the dolphin encounter on monday and it was definitely worth it.

All of the kids (2-88) enjoyed their time with a dolphin. The kids loved seeing the dolphin splash their mom or dad too.

Hi JJRide, yea that looks like fun and she will love it, how do i book it in advance?

Just follow the link to book it on your own. Or, contact Disney's excursion reservation.

I booked on my own at www.dolphinswim.com. Then the only thing I had to do was get to the ferry terminal via taxi ($4). If you book through Disney, the ferry will pick you up near the ship, it costs more, but the choice is yours.

Enjoy!

We did the Dolphin Swim in Nassau. We loved it and it was so great swimming around with the dolphins. The best part was the "Dolphin Push!"

HI Iris, Im looking to do the dolphin swim as well, is it an all day thing, and what would be the price for a 4 yr old? Did you book on the ship or did you contact dolphin swim themselves?
