What exactly is "Pooh sized"

What needs to be considered are the feelings of other people. How do you suppose that 5'2", size 14 person would feel after reading your previous post?

I don't think you should be worried.

Just tell us which of the two princesses in your signature pics that is the real you.....and then we will critique your clothes!

Sizes and weight really are irrelevant. Am I pooh size? Yes. I have a friend who she and I can wear the same clothes, but everyone who meets her thinks she weighs more than me when actually I weigh more than her. Yes, she would think she is pooh size too, but even my doctor is amazed that I can carry the weight I do and not look bigger - I have a bigger bone structure (although I am rather short) am amazing, quite a few muscles.

So....what have we learned.....pooh, tinkerbelle, whatever you want to call yourself, go ahead..do it if if makes you feel good and who cares.

Did one poster say that size 12 is really "pooh sized"?? Here I am after losing 85 lbs 2 years ago...am I pooh size, really?

oops, I'm confused with the new photobucket, is anyone else when it comes to editing for message boards?

Jillpie, you look amazing! Definatly not pooh sized!

I wouldnt say im pooh sized, or tickerbell sized (im not that short! :lmao: ) i would say i am comfy sized. I guess im kind of cinderella sized, she seems kind of in preportion.

And I have to say.... ( although I already complimented Jillpie on her weightloss and her outstanding looks ) , that I am extremely proud of her for having the self confidence and fortitude to be the first (and perhaps only ) one to post her pic.

In all seriousness.. that was brave of her......bravo!!!!!!!

P.S.- I would post a pic of myslelf but there are two (perhaps three) issues.

1) I don't know how to do it.

2) I am so devastanigly handsome I may irrepairably damage the bandwith from the number of hits that the "DIS" may be no more.

3) ( ****POSTER IS DELUSIONAL****)

I guess I could be considered Pooh size. I can squeeze into a size 14, (I even have two size 12 things that run big, so I can wear them,) but usually I wear a size 16.

Good grief, I hope thats not what is considered pooh size (no offense to anyone). I consider pooh sized to be someone who is large enough that they are actually concerned about fitting on a ride. A 12/14/16 certainly is not a cause for concern.
I hope that didn't come off as mean-spirited because it was not my intention, just my interpretation of the usual question we see regarding being pooh sized.

Jillpie-you look great! Congrats on the loss!

Oh, I'm not worried. I'm just saying it could hurt someone's feelings to discover they are considered "Pooh-sized." I'm taller than 5'2" and smaller than size 14, but that's not the point. If I read a post saying someone of my height and size is Pooh-sized, I wouldn't be too flattered.

To answer your question, I haven't worn a ponytail since the early '90s and I wouldn't be caught dead in a clamshell bra, so neither princess in my signature is me.

As far as posting a pic, I'll play along. I'm the wench with the gun.

ETA: Jillpie, congrats on the weightloss! that's quite an accomplishment.

Seeing as it describes me, I'm ok with it.

Pooh-sized is out of the question. A pirates treaure......perhaps!

(and a great looking family)

You are OK with it. Others fitting your description of Pooh-sized might not be, though. That's all I'm saying. I wouldn't appreciate it if it were me. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

That was very sweet. Thanks! :)

And whether or not you are one or the other or somewhere in between;), you notice that men aren't posting on here! lol Most of the men don't seem to care about the body image like we women do. Whether they are rail thin, in between or pooh sized the guys are still walking by their mirrors and seeing Mr. Hot bod when they go by!:rotfl2:
Which brings us back to our own body images of ourselves. I may wear the same size clothes some other woman half a foot taller than me wears, but I may not consider her pooh sized even though I do myself. That's truly a hard decision to make...what is pooh sized? It definitely is used by more people describing themselves, and usually women..lol
But what is truly sad is the anorexic girl out there who may see herself as pooh sized when she the rail thin one. We gals really need to work on our body images!;)

I cannot imagine using the term "Pooh-size" off the DisBoards! People would think you're talking about "poo size" (which has already been mentioned!)

I always interpreted it with concern to fitting on certain rides. (would the lap bar go down, etc.)

Thats not true!

(EDIT)

Well... I had a very (in my mind humorous) response but it would not likely adhere to the very, very, very, very, very, very, very strict guidelines of these boards.

So just imagine it was really funny and good night.

You're a female? I thought you were a male, too. Oops.

I think it's because you chose "handsome" to describe yourself...
They say never to assume.....

Yeah, that and the fact that the OP is listed as male in his/her public profile. Color me confused. ::confused3
