We spent last night with friends, which are our neighbors, to watch a local town fireworks show

Today will be quiet with just DH and DD21. I will be celebrating the holiday by floating in my pool all day and my DH is making dinner. Tonight I’ll watch all neighborhood fireworks while I sit on my pool deck.

Tomorrow will also be a pool day - I love being in the pool.

Sunday may rain, so we may go see a movie.

Very low key weekend for us - I should be well tanned and relaxed by Monday.

BBQ with the family. Watching the WDW Independence Day fireworks via live stream is a tradition in our family, as is watching the NYC fireworks on NBC.

I had work earlier today (good 4th of July crowds in my store). I’m a little scared to go to Mt Trashmore in Virginia to see fireworks there because of the recent gun violence that forced a carnival to get cancelled midway through. I might just skip watching them altogether, considering Disney does fireworks right and I just saw Luminous. Disney takes the cake on fireworks. Not to mention the security at Disney I feel more comfortable with comparing it to security in similar events back here in Virginia.

Cookout at my sisters today followed by county fireworks. Tomorrow we’re having a big pool party and then shooting off our own fireworks. Sunday we promised to take our 9yo son to the new Jurassic Park movie.

At this 10:00 morning standing in the car port shade of our double wide trailer at 94 degrees in the Yuma dry heat...and please don't judge me... cooking pizza on a casino gift pizza oven...they were Kroger 50%off... and it helps to be in the pool between breakfast slices

Well... huh ...hanging my Gadsen flag on , one of the.....28....metal spikes on the 3 driveway gates.but a lot of Hot air in the 30 mph wind.. so probably not a good idea

No events. Our local city has decided it can no longer afford to sponsor a celebration. So, just took a run out to our RV to start loading up for our summer trip. Maybe I'll watch the fireworks on TV tonight.

Just us having dinner of hamburgers, chips, cole slaw, macaroni salad, and dessert and tonight on tv switching back and forth between a few of the shows. We will unfortunately hear people setting fireworks off even though not allowed and scaring our poor dog.

I bicycled 44.44 miles 4 the 4th of July today PLUS I reminded DW that she should watch Yankee Doodle Dandy on the net. It is now JUST OVER so I can make dinner.

Went to see the new movie F1 late this morning, it was fantastic & then we watched Jaws and are going to settle in and try to keep our sweet puppy calm for her first 4th of July. Poor little thing already seems spooked so I think she hears things we don't.

Went to a friends pool party/bbq today. Sunday we are kicking off our seafood shack summer tour with Costello. Hoping to hit a bunch this summer. I made a list

We did a gathering/bash thing here. It was a fairly small gathering, some family and friends for a cookout and games.

We went to DD's for supper on Friday but there was no celebration. Saturday I drove down to my sister's and will stay for a couple of nights. It's summer now.
